OKI don't know where these other reviews came about the food but I didn't see it. I stayed the night there, I'm a truck driver I woke up this morning we went in to get coffee and some ice and a breakfast burrito, there was no ice. The machine was broken, the coffee wasn't hot and the $7 burritos that they sell. I got 2 of them and they were absolutely inedtable in case of like the potatoes that they had inside the burritos had been sitting out all week-long, I took one bite and could not finish and I'm used to eating. On the road food these were absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unless your starving.

Last place we got gas before hitting the mountains of Colorado. Heading up the first hill our car died. Come to find out there was water in the gas line and tank. So, either they buy awful gas or they water it down. Took multiple fuel treatments to take care of the issue. lucky for us it was not worse. Avoid this place if you can make it to the next station!

We chose to stop at this gas station after reading several conflicting reviews. I can in fact confirm the gas station at first glance appeared sketchy. we had hit it right before the lunch rush so when we rode in there were only two cars. However, we were pleasantly surprised with how nice the staff was and people were not lying the burgers are very tasty. Definitely recommend don't be afraid if it's tough exterior.

The travel plaza itself is pretty sketch, but the real winner that feels like an absolute gem in this unsuspecting dilapidated truck stop is the food! Lots of locals were making their way through here for lunch & the hot topic was the cheeseburger & smothered burritos. Totally not in a red meat mood - I went for a grilled chicken club & curly fries not expecting anything more then a gas station variety, but was pleasantly surprised as it was delicious! The partner got the cheeseburger & was also quite happy with it. There's seating available in some old school booths looking out to 70 zooming by. It was a good solid greasy spoon lunch and not too awful on the wallet. Thank you scary travel plaza! You have saved my faith in hole in the walls once more!

5 star place because they have SOLID wi-fi, which can be hard to come by along this part of the highway! They also have Great food! I ate there on my way headed West, and made sure to stop again on my way back headed East. I will definitely be stopping here everytime I'm on I-70.

Stopped here for gas, water and snacks, and a restroom. My two receipts say "Danny" though we were helped by two different guys. The bathroom was disgusting, they were rude to both me and my really sweet 80yo mother, and the gas pumps weren't working properly. I was initially excited to see they had rocks for sale and one young man showed me how far up to fill the bag. Then he encouraged me to add a little more. I brought the bag to the counter and there was another young man who basically treated me like I was taking advantage of their rock sale, accused me of over filling, and threatened to charge me double. I explained that I was following directions of the other guy and he rolled his eyes at me and spoke sarcastically to me and sighed to himself. I do not like being treated like I'm trying to rip someone off. I am always happy to pay my way, and I was just following directions. My mom is the nicest person you ever met and she was so angry she was in tears when we left. Danny: you are only as happy as you choose to be. Please stop making your anger and discontentment someone else's problem by treating them horribly.

Was a big fan of the customer service here! Would also recommend the cheeseburger! They also have a lot of cute souvenirs! The shirts and sweaters were very cute.

Ok, so this place randomly has some amazing bacon cheeseburgers. The place looks a little sketch, but after I saw a few locals eating lunch there, I had to give it a go. They make a fantastic diner style burger, I wish I had grabbed two!

We stopped here late in the evening and ordered food with our 3 children under 6. Food was great, fast, and served by friendly servers. This must be a family owned business...so please support! They even stayed open a little longer so we could get kids into jammies and potty runs. Very friendly! Floor was clean enough to let our son play with his play car on the floor!

If you are driving through East Colorado or West Kansas, you aren't likely to find a friendlier grilled cheese sandwich than the one here. They even put onions on it for me at no extra charge. It also came with a side of slow-moving trucker buddies with fast-moving moustaches, and some ski-trip-bros. The trucker buddies were demi-hitting-on the high-school-aged girl behind the counter in a way that would have made the balloon boy's parents blush. I didn't get gas here, so I can't speak to that, but nothing lead me to believe that there would be anything weird in it.

Well there is a cute girl at the counter, her name escapes me, but while your thinking whatever it is that one thinks after a long car ride, your account balance is being lowered by the expensive gas and soon to eat meal, with baccon. But it's all done with a smile.
