Got my blood pressure meds refilled and was told to pick up after 9:00am. Went later in the day to be told it's not refilled and I could only buy 2 days of the presciption I need every day AND that those two pills would cost more than the entire month. Scammy place! Fortunately there are other options in town.

i know this pharmacy has bad reviews and i don't need to read them to know it is because they are understaffed. every place in salida is understaffed. what i will say is these are good hardworking people and they will do everything they possibly can to help you. they are just very busy

Should be shut down. Making up a lie saying they don't have it and refusing to give me my medication and it's an emergency. Got an attitude too. I will be reporting this.

I went to pick up a medication that my insurance wasn't approving to be filled and I found a phone number to call and request an override, which Cameron did immediately for me, as I am leaving for a cruise tomorrow early morning and had misplaced some of my prescription. He went above and beyond to make sure we tried everything legally possible to fulfill this request and did so almost immediately. In a small town, where everyone is understaffed...I truly appreciate this! Thank you so very much!! <3

Almost didn’t leave a review, but was curious to check if my experience was unique. Seeing it wasn’t, I’d like to confirm to the world, the negative reviews are justified. Cameron has not just once, but multiple times, left me with negative experiences so bad that I have felt the need to share with friends and family.Specifically, Cameron has made me feel inferior or less than because of my income level. The first time I went to pick up a prescription, he asked if I had insurance, I said no. He said “well, how are you going to pay for this?” I thought to myself “with my money”. Seriously, I felt so publicly shamed and looked down on because of my lack of health insurance. I work for a small business and not everyone in my county can afford to offer benefits to their workers. Get off your high horse!Every time we’ve interacted, it has felt like I cannot deviate from his accepted script and order of operations. If we tell him “no, you don’t understand, because. . .” it feels utterly disregarded and he returns to his unbreakable formula and script. Just listen!Do not recommend this pharmacy at all. There is one nice pharmacist who is SO personable, but there’s no guarantee of seeing her, so I’m never returning again.

During recent snow, I tried to get flowers from Safeway delivered via Door Dash. They could not get any drivers, so Safeway made and exception and delivered the flowers. Amazing floral department and store for their help and consideration. Hard to find that nowadays. ✅✅

They are so nice every time I go in there. The wait is long but that's common at every pharmacy these days since there's such a lack of workers. I've had zero issues getting my meds and with kindness.

I'm Liking It!!! Terrific Safeway! I found everything I needed and lots of things I didn't. I really appreciate the hardworking folks here. Bonus, there is a great Starbucks inside. I had the BEST cup of Joe there!

My daughter and I stopped here to grab some vacation snacks to have in our hotel room while on our 4 day trip in Salida. We went around the store and got a few things and went to check out. I didn't have a Safeway membership but signing up for one took less than a minute; all I had to do was enter my phone number and voila, I had like $10 in savings. The cashier was super nice and genuinely looked happy. He also checked us out when we went in a second time later on in the week. I had a great experience here and would go back again.
