Couldn’t have had a better experience with Dustin! We were in Salida on vacation. We were having problems with a tire. After calling multiple shops and being told they didn’t have any availability we called “Rushton’s”. He understood our situation and was offering to help despite being very busy. We actually showed up an hour early and it was no problem. He got us fixed up and at a very good price! And he also has the sweetest shop dog “Chief”.

I was in Salida vacationing and broke my radiator. Dustin was able to get me in and fix my truck right away. Best customer service and amazing repair. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

best auto shop in Salida, I think ... Dustin Rushton (owner) is a very good mechanic, honest to a fault, up front and open about needed repairs, very moderately priced as these things go, and always gives service "above and beyond" (checks fluids, lights, general items for safety) ... in short: highly recommend ???️?? ?
