A great store with helpful and friendly employees, especially John, he was great. Some things are a little more pricey compared to home depot but compared to local True Value, Ace, and Hilton, Poncha Lumber out shines them all in pricing, quality assurance, and customer assistance.

It’s great for a last resort. And if you want to pay three times what it is worth. Lumber looks like culls. They do have a wide selection of products. Just way more expensive than normal. As a contractor I prefer a little more service. The guys that are working the yard, are great and go out of the way to help. But the people in the office have never used a single item they sell or at least come across that way.

I’ve been on a paint- matching quest for a few weeks, dealing with a finicky shade of dark brown on an interior wall. Martin has been amazing. He takes great care to meet customer needs, even at busy times, & multitasks like a pro. I tried a competitor in my neighboring town, & they only do quart samples?. Martin mixed the first pint of a tint I chose. Upon return, I brought a chip of a wall sample, & he matched it dead on, checking against both interior light & sunlight. He saved me time, money, & aggravation, all the while being professional and personable. Take care of Martin- he’s a keeper.

A great hardware store supplying the surrounding area! They've got tiling, hardware, garden supplies, plumbing supplies, hard cut wood, paints galore, you name it! Glen helped us and was so kind and knowledgeable, I recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Expensive as hell but absolutely not the store's fault. The cost of plywood and all wood at the present time is high, but at least the employees were friendly and had a great sense of humor.
