Jeff was a great realtor and a great fit for us. We looked at many properties over the course of a year and Jeff was very patient with us. Coming from out of town, he was always willing to take the time to work with us and was very prompt with communication. Overall, he was a joy to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I can’t say enough about how great it was to work with Beth Lockett for the sale of my mom’s house. I thought it would be difficult being that I was out of town, but she made everything so easy and convenient. She was very personable and really cared about what would be best for mom. She personally took care of things that I was unable to and worked together with the Estate Sale team to make everything go smoothly. I would 100% recommend Beth for your real estate needs.

Beth was wonderful to work with. If we buy in Salida again she will be our first call!

Beth Lockett helped us purchase a home in Salida, and was wonderful to work with. I especially appreciated her tenacity and quick responses to information requests and solving a variety of issues as they came up. I have done many real estate transactions, and she and her partner went above and beyond expectations. I recommend Beth and would work with her again.

Jeff Kurtz absolutely knocked it out of the park. Admittedly, I don't trust realtors ??♂️However, Jeff is a diamond in the rough. Constantly keeping in touch, super knowledgeable of the area, and professional above all. When and if we buy another home in the area, the choice in a realtor will be obvious!

This office is so nice right downtown in Salida. They display a variety of properties in their windows and the agents who work there are all so friendly.

I started looking 7 years ago for a house, starting in Montana, then Wy, and ending up evaluating towns and areas all over Colorado. My search was based on top fly fishing towns/areas along with a community I wanted to live in. Three (3) years ago, I discovered the Buena Vista and Salida areas. I googled realtors in this area. Coldwell Banker came up so I called the agency and chose to work with Beth. I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket so I had a tight budget. It didn't matter to Beth if I was spending over a million dollars or $600,000. I still got great service. I had used other realtors in Wy. and Co. that just didn't show me enthusiasm or being active. Beth, was a go getter, which was what I was looking for. We communicated together well. During the 3 years, I lost 4 houses because I was outbid. About a year went by as Beth kept emailing me houses that were listed. I heard from her unexpectedly that she had found The house and property I had been looking for! She was exactly right because she took the time to learn my tastes and preferences. I found a ranch style house with views and with some land. I jumped on the house. Beth helped me in every step of the way from making the offer to closing. We closed last week! I'm glad I chose Beth and the Coldwell Banker team! They were great to work with and Beth never gave up!

Beth Lockett was awesome!! We had been looking for land in the area for 2 years then decided to look at houses. Beth has been patient, professional and fun throughout the entire process. We just closed on our retirement home in Poncha Springs and couldn't be happier! Beth continues to be a great source for names of lenders, handymen, etc. Fantastic realtor!!

Jeff was hands-down the best agent we have ever worked with. His attentiveness, approachability, reliability, and enthusiasm were unmatched, and only exceeded by his professionalism and advocacy for us as his clients throughout the entire process. Jeff kept all the stakeholders connected and on schedule up until the final moments of closing, helping us along the way to ensure nothing was missed and we could rest easy. He is an exemplary broker, but more importantly, he is an authentic and caring person who puts the interests of his clients above all else. Words cannot describe how enjoyable Jeff made this process for us!

We have been working with this team for over 6 months now and have been so impressed. These agents and their staff are responsive, experienced, honest, and smart. As buyers, sometimes I have felt like we've asked a LOT of our agent but he is so willing and happy to help. He has gone above and beyond for our family. We will be closing on our new home soon thanks to how well networked (in Salida) this team is and how hard working they are. Our family is so grateful to have found them and we can't wait to move to Salida!

As a Partner at Flynn Accounting we work with many organizations, good and bad. Bill and his team are AMAZING! That is not a word I use often or lightly when it comes to service. Bill was available for emails and phone calls at any time and if he wasn't available would respond the same day. While on Vacation he continued to communicate with us on ongoing details. He even had his personal handy man make some repairs/touch ups to insure the seller received the best possible price and the buyer received a Quality Product. A storm was forecasted for our moving day and we contacted Bill to see if we could move the "Big" stuff in the day before closing. Bill immediately contacted the seller and coordinated with him to grant us access. He vouched for the integrity of our family with the seller and made it happen. I have purchased many properties both personally and for investment purposes, Bill is by far the BEST REALTOR I have worked with. Rick Cihak

**Update: Bill recently contacted me in a courteous way, and we had a civil, respectful conversation. We still have some differences of interpretation. But he did graciously offer the use of his dump trailer so we could remove the copious trash left in our new home.**We recently purchased a property for which Bill Lockett of Coldwell Banker was the sellers’ agent. Since we were on the other side of the deal from him, you should take what we say with a grain of salt. But we found his conduct to be unprofessional. We’ll try to give you the facts so you can judge whether this is a legitimate criticism. Most significantly, in our view, Bill listed the house as a five-bedroom. But this is false. The septic tank is only approved for three bedrooms, which means that the house must be listed as a three bedroom. Two of the “bedrooms” furthermore had no egress or no closet, and the appraiser and inspector did not count them as bedrooms. Either Bill was intentionally misleading potential buyers, or he was sloppy about what he was selling. After we discovered this, we terminated the contract, as we and the sellers couldn’t agree about how to proceed. Fair enough. But then Bill re-listed the property as five bedrooms again for over a week, despite knowing that the house was not up to code for more than three. The description was not fixed. This strikes us as at least extremely casual with respect to the truth. (**Edit: Bill says he did add a note about the bedroom issue in the realtor remarks (not the public listing) on the MLS.**)Another snag hit because the house was listed as furnished, but shortly after getting under contract the sellers demanded almost all the furniture. This might not be Bill’s fault. But Bill seemed to require some convincing that he and the sellers both had previously represented, in writing, that they were selling a furnished house. (**Edit: Bill interpreted the contract as not including furniture. He says that his interpretation is based on 20+ years of experience. Our agent, also very experienced, certainly did not see things this way. But I admit I don't know the local norms.**)We and the sellers sorted things out, and got back under contract. But the problems with Bill continued. As part of the inspection resolution process, the sellers committed to hire exterminators to get rid of an extensive mouse problem and to seal all access points. Bill ordered only the most basic exterminator service, which, we learned, did not include sealing the major access points. This was the first unfulfilled contractual obligation. (**Edit: Bill claims that the exterminator told him the basic service did cover sealing the access. This isn't what the exterminator told me, nor what the exterminator's report says. But I don't know what the exterminator told Bill.**)A second commitment the sellers made was to have the house cleaned to professional “deep clean” standards. These standards were not met. Mouse feces are in almost every room. Every cupboard and drawer has dirt and filth. We had asked that a giant outdoor storage tub that had been used as a rats nest be removed. They did remove the tub, but all of the polyester nesting material and literally pounds of feces were dumped next to the patio. We don’t know how the responsibility for overseeing the cleaning was divided between Bill, the sellers, and our agent. But he did not take much responsibility for meeting his clients’ obligations in a satisfactory way. (**Edit: Bill points out that we didn't bring this to his attention after our walkthrough. We acknowledge that, and that he might well have made an effort if we did. We remain dismayed that we would have had to fight to get these basic obligations satisfied.**)
