What an excellent local bike shop. I've visited here on multiple occasions, for a bike tune, some small repairs, and to get accessories for my bike. The entire staff are super helpful. On my most recent visit, they got my bike fixed (and upgraded) while I was on my lunch break so I was able to get back on the trail so quickly. Thank you so much Spencer!

The best shop in Chaffe County! Great selection of boutique bike brands, quality accessories, a plethora of different options for gear and the most welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff around. Shawn is a godsend and his team is truly wonderful — thank you to Tyler, Paul and Nate for the help! You guys are rock stars, keep up the good work!

I got a bike fit from Tyler last week, and had a great experience! He was super knowledgeable and friendly. We went through everything from saddle height, size, and positioning to the type of grips on my bars. Over the course of the fit I gained almost 60 watts on the trainer and the difference on the trail is incredible, both from a comfort and performance standpoint. Plus the whole staff is very friendly and helpful – none of the ego-driven bro culture that is often rampant in bike shops. Highly recommend a visit to Absolute!

I’ve made two trips to Absolute this year and both have been so stellar that I’m writing reviews on both. I needed a simple thing - a mount for my Garmin. Snow had put me on the road on my new road bike before I had a chance to get the aero mount I needed. Absolute had a lot of options but not the exact thing. So Mike, the shop manager, dug into his own personal bag of old parts and pulled out a mount that fit for me and just gave it to me. I’m not suggesting that you’re gonna get free stuff at Absolute no doubt I’ve spent a lot of money there. But you are gonna meet some people who are kind and go the extra mile.

Absolute bikes went above and beyond, with a last minute pre-shuttle bike repair, and kind, welcoming, patient and passionate staff. These folks love biking and Salida. Highly recommend.

Absolute distinguishes itself by being friendly yet detail oriented and professional. Great team onboard right now - Mike and Paul are the best!
On top of that, Absolute has a great stock of bikes and parts, performs service quickly and reliably, and offers demos and bike shuttles to the top of the Monarch Crest and is located is right next to some of the best trails in the state!

We have really great bike shops in this valley and Absolute always rank high. I feel taken seriously. There is a genuine love of bikes here. I had a great experience recently with a sales person who knew I wasn't buying a bike but took the time to seriously chat. I own a small retail biz in the valley and know what it means to have people on staff that care about what they talk about. Thanks again!

Salida local who loves this shop so much! I have been looking for my first mountain bike for months, but was restricted due to size and price range. I probably went in 2 days a month for 6 months to scope out inventory, test bikes, and just putz around. Found my Small Rocky Mountain Element today, and immediately took her on a ride and was so thrilled.

Southbound great divide , broke 2 spokes: called to see if they could repair spokes/rim , they fit ,me right in and had the rim/spokes repaired in a couple of hours. They gotme on my way. Great service. Thanks

While riding Vitamin B, I bent my rear wheel, broke the derealier dropper and axel. Marcel the mechanic at Absolute was able to locate my specific Transition Scout pieces at another shop. Marcel was able to fix my rear wheel and put together my drive train so i could rode the next morning. Talk about fantastic service! Thank you Absolute for getting back out on the single track!!
