Rented cabin 3 for two nights as a birthday present for my wife. Once we arrived for check in I found my one and only direct interaction with the owners to be a tad off putting. Check in was listed as 4pm, we arrived around 4:15 and was told that she was just about to leave the office. To me, if you are expecting a check in it would be professional to be ready and in office for them. If you tell customers to arrive after 4 for check in, I’d expect to find the location staffed. Otherwise, our only exposure to the owners were them annoyingly driving an extremely loud side by side past the cabin all day. Once we had our keys we went to our cabin. This is unfortunately where our trip came to a true disappointing experience. The screen door to the cabin did not latch, and could only be secured by the bolt on it, which was extremely difficult to use. Once inside we found our next surprise, the bathroom. Once we opened the shower we found the most appalling bathtub I have ever seen in a room I’ve rented. The walls were covered in horribly cracked plastic and black mold covered sealing. During our stay we did not use the shower as a result. After settling in we went to cook diner and found a cabinet of dirty dishes. We cleaned dishes to use and went to bed. On our way to sleep we were greeted with two other unpleasant surprises. Once the fan on the fireplace kicks on, it produces the most horrible sound, a snip of which is added in the video. This noise kept us up for most the night. The other surprise was the lights they trim the cabins with. Each cabin has bright rope lights along the edge of the roof. While pretty from the office view, the light shines straight through the windows keeping you up. The curtains in the main room are so thin that even closed you can see clearly through, and the bed room ones do provide “privacy” but don’t stop light. I’m sad to have to quote privacy, as there is none in this cabin. The bed is fully visible from the front door windows as there is no door to the bedroom. Although on the subject of the bed, I’ve also never been required to the housekeeping duties and strip the bed after use. VERY strange to me that I was told I had to do this before leaving. I’m also a bit sad as the website listed all these great things to do here and once on the property we were provided no information on how or where to do any of it, and found a lot of the mentioned businesses to be closed during our stay. Given the high nightly rates of this cabin I am beyond disappointed with how my gift turned out. I truly regret taking my wife here for her birthday. I hope the owners take this criticism to heart and work on fixing these issues. This location has so much potential.Rooms: Very shabby. I’ve stayed at cheap motels with better bathrooms.

If you want peace and quiet, wildlife (mostly deer) outside your window, lots of. beautiful hiking trails and a friendly Tavern on site, then this is your place. We stayed in Sunflower cottage, it was cosy, super clean with a really comfortable bed. I think I slept better than I have in some weeks. The hosts are wonderful, friendly, kind and accommodating. The Tavern was a very short walk from our cabin, there was live music on Saturday night which was excellent. The food is great. We will definitely be back.

Wow! We were visiting from Michigan. Such a nice place. Our cabin was so comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The highlight for us was the friendly owners who go above and beyond to insure you are taken care of. The tavern is cozy, the food especially the Pizza and Mac and Cheese were some of the beat we’ve ever had Well stocked bar, great TVs where we enjoyed watching football. We will be back!

Needing to update my old review because it was from 4 years ago. This is my very favorite place to visit! With the new owners, Kerrie and Rich, it has gotten even better. Wonderful, cozy cabins in such a beautiful landscape. Now that the Tavern is open it is fantastic to be able to go and get delicious food and have a drink. Their hospitality is 100+++. I really appreciate coming and knowing that it will be fun, relaxing and always a great getaway! Thank you Marr's Mountain Cabins... you guys are doing an amazing job!

Just came home from an amazing 3 day family adventure at Marr’s! The cabin was perfect in every way from the cleanliness to the comfy bed. We had everything we needed to make meals and when we didn’t feel like it, the Tavern was a few steps away. The food, people, and music were great! The lake is beautiful and our daughter caught her first fish! Thank you Rich and Kerrie! You guys have a wonderful place and we can’t wait to come back!!

We just returned from a wonderful 3-day weekend at Marr's Mountain Cabins. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend in mountains, this is the place! The cabins are clean and nicely decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked with all the kitchenware you need to cook up a great breakfast. If you are looking for entertainment, a cocktail or just a visit with the friendly people in the area, The Tavern is just a short walk from your cabin. The food, drink and people at The Tavern are fantastic! If you want to go for a walk, there are some nice trails close by, and the lake is just outside your cabin door. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and are looking forward to another trip there. Thank you to Marr's for your wonderful hospitality!

Clean, beautiful cabins with gorgeous green views deep in the mountains at Red Feather Lakes. A tavern with amazing food, cold drinks, and a hospitable crew to go along with it just a short walk away from any of the cabins.
