I looked on their website for possible dogs I clicked with by their picture. We called Katelyn ( head of animal control)to say I was interested in adopting a shelter dog. I explained why I was wanting a dog, my lifestyle, what kind of personality I was looking for. When we arrived at the appointment, Katelyn told me she had one particular dog in mind. It so happened to be the dog I picked on the website. This pup and i clicked immediately. Katelyn toid me to foster him for a month just to make sure. I did adopt him. Katelyn listened to my request and showed me the best fit. Katelyn is very compassionate for the needs of the animals placed in her care. The shelter was clean and each animal treated with love and respect. If you are looking for a new pet, check out the shelter, they will help you find the best fit for you and your new pet. You must call and schedule an appointment to meet the dogs and cats. They are very helpful and will to let you spend time with dogs and cats.
