The staff was helpful, but the experience was horrible. First time looking at an auto auction and trying to learn how it works. I bid on a car they had as part of their online auction. I bid the opening bid amount and no one else put in a bid. Thinking that means I won, right? When the auction ended nothing happened. Didn't say I won, didn't say anything. Go in today after opening only to be told that the seller they consigned the vehicle with wanted $800 more than the opening bid but would be willing to take $600 more. Which just coincidently was my max bid. Well, if they wanted that amount, should have been the opening bid. I don't like being jerked around, especially for a vehicle in poor condition. I was willing to put in the work to restore it, but not when the seller wants Kelley Blue Book value for a car that doesn't meet Kelley Blue Book standards. The whole experience has made turned me off on the idea of ever trying this again! I don't recommend coming here, but if you do, I would be VERY vigilant about the vehicle and the value of it.

This is where used cars go to die.
Every vehicle will most likely need something done to it if you have the money to work on it go for it.
They also never seem to get there paperwork in order

Not all cars at the auction are bad, but all bad cars are at the auction. I joke! ? But I enjoy sh!t boxes so I’m here for it! Lol. My Dad bought vehicles from the McDowell’s and I continue the tradition. Not all purchases have been great, but that’s the chance you take. Sometimes a dealer doesn’t want an older, high-mileage vehicle on their car lot. So they send it here. Those are my picks. I currently own a vehicle that I bought from here & I absolutely love it! The staff have been friendly & helpful. I’ll continue to be a repeat buyer.

Went to look at a car last week, lady in office said nobody there to start the car I was looking at, said come back next week on Friday. Sold the car over the weekend. Doesn't even know what day of the week it is.

Don’t really know how anyone can write a bad review. Guys and gals running this place are extremely nice while being honest and upfront.

This place is a scam. They have a shill bidders in the audience to inflate car prices. These are cars are end of the road. They are the bottom of the barrel. I’m pretty sure the old man Jake is a little kid sniffer.

I only buy my vehicles at Pyramid Motors and Auction. Family owned and operated, the owner and his son and the employees are good people, and they run the business very well. If you want great deals, a large selection of vehicles to pick from, and genuine, honest business, get yourself to a Saturday morning/afternoon auction at Pyramid Motors & Auction and have a great time bidding and buying your next vehicle!

My personal experiences with the employees has always been straight forward. They answered my questions and assisted when asked.Heads up, when they say don't be making any moves while the auction is in bidding, believe it, otherwise you will buy something you did not intend to.I have bought six cars over the years, some needed a little work and a couple were not so good but they do have great finds, I would recommend you have some sort of back ground in mechanics .I admit I landed a bad one on the last round and couldn't repure it but that was my fault. They are not hard to find and I'm sure they will answer any thoughtful questions.

Was interested in stopping by and possibly selling a truck here BUT they don't answer the phone, reply with auto generated responses when you take the time to fill out a contact request and have a NO REPLY response so there is just no way to contact. If I have to work this hard to get any info BEFORE making a purchase or trying to sell a vehicle with them imagine how pathetic they must be after they get your $$. I read some of the other reviews - Yeekers!!

Waited around all day for campers to come up and since they don’t put the reserve price up you have no idea where they will start. No campers sold because the price wasn’t even close to market. What a joke a total wast of time. Put the reserve price up front instead of hiding. Every other place puts it on the trailer or car. Don’t bother with this place and it’s hidden price

Auction is pretty cool a couple of the auctioneers you can barely tell what there saying. One thing that is totally not cool is a couple of there guys act like buyers running up the bids with no intentions of buying the vehical. Like come on bud probably kicks people when there down and laughs about it. Call him out when you see it stop this guy's idea of being funny.
