My family has been taking our ranch diesel trucks and even my personal gas truck a couple of times. Optimal has been nothing but professional and intuitive to current and possible future issues. Letting us know that typical issues happen at certain mileage/age intervals has helped us plan for when the "big ticket" items will become issues, has saved us from being stranded on the highway! Love these great people!!!?

Well, I wanted to give them a shot... but they "don't install customer supplied parts" so they turned me away. My parts are new in the box from the exact same performance vendors they use. I'm not asking for warranty, just labor. We all know why they don't want to use customer supplied parts is because that doesn't allow then to gouge you on markup. I fully understand. I've been in the diesel industry for 25+ years. Oh well, time to move on...

This place is very knowledgeable on diesels and because of that and being a great repair shop they have a long waiting list however it is worth the wait also once he got my truck in he got it repaired a little faster than he had estimated and saved me a few hundred dollars on the repair did a outstanding job and I highly recommend this place very nice and knowledgeable people

Moved here from North Carolina 3 years ago. Had a situation in NC where a Ford dealer ended up messing up my truck. The bill was $3,500, had it in the shop 6 times, and they never could get it right. By the grace of God, I got all my money back and went elsewhere. Needless to say, I am very skeptical of all diesel mechanics.I recently had an issue with my 2006 F-350 6.0 and was in drastic need of a Good Diesel Mechanic. My neighbor referred me to Shawn at Optimal Diesel. I could not be more thankful and satisfied with the work I recently had done to my truck. Shawn the owner of Optimal Diesel is a true professional. He is honest, hardworking, knowledgeable, and experienced. He takes the time to explain everything to the customer. Optimal Diesel hit it out of the park.In the future my truck will need a new head gasket and a new set of heads. I will definitely be taking it to Optimal Diesel for the work.
