Went in here to try buying a pair of work shoes. Walmart sells new work shoes for cheaper or the same price. Even goodwill had cheaper shoes. Guys a brand new pair of work shoes is 15-20 bucks at Walmart. A friend of mine got her bed here for 150 shipped, you can get it cheaper at Walmart brand new. Only in pueblo are the thrift stores trying to compete with major supermarkets.

Employees are rude here and most things are high priced compared to other thrift stores in the area. I understand pueblo is terrible when it comes to people stealing things but the only things you pay for are the food items you carry, you literally lose nothing when other things that are donated free of charge are taken from you and if youre so concerned with people taking things you should worry more about someone with a large shoulder bag walking around rather than me with a small backpack purse. After an employee told me I had to keep my bags (small backpack purse and a diaper bag) at the counter I decided to take them to my car instead because again, I saw another woman with a shoulder bag twice the size of my backpack and im not going to trust your employees to keep personal items in my purse safe. I was about to leave when this same employee went to grab both bags out of my hands that I had to move them out of the way and say I'm taking them to my car (the employee rolled their eyes when i said i was taking them back to my vehicle). When I came back I noticed a different employee watching my family the entire time we were looking for a couch up until the point we got to the cashier even following us when we went toward the back were the toys are. Again, I understand stealing is a problem but its offensive and irritating to feel like I'm being watched when I've done nothing wrong or even fussing about your bag policy. Not to mention, from other reveiws it seems you don't have enough room for donations so its rediculous that your employees are so paranoid of people stealing. Its always the religious ones though especially when you look different (I dress goth and my family is interracial). We won't be back.

I’ve enlisted the help of NH in picking stuff up and they have always been exceptional. Today’s pickup began with a phone call to their office, with Dorcas answering. She did an excellent job, as did the men who removed a big, heavy sofa. A big plus for me today was receiving texts apprising me of when the truck would arrive, thus allowing me to plan my day with more accuracy. Kudos to New Horizons on every level!

Worked my old behind off to make a rather nice donation of really nice vinyl, maybe a couple hundred all in several boxes, the young
guy at the drop off said they are not taking certain things, so I had
to bring it all home, I live out in the county and it is hot today, I called and they said they would take vinyl, guess there is some
communication break down, or maybe they are making to much
money. I will never donate again or will I ever shop in your store
again.

This is a beautiful store. Clean a lot of unique items. The people they are very sweet and I love the music as I am a Christian and it's just a nice wonderful place. I always find something several things there and everyone is happy and joyful and it's a nice environment. Thank you, God bless should.

Without doubt my favorite thrift store. They make me happy. The prices are phenomenal, the staff is excellent, and the selection of merchandise is second to none. Always a clean & well-organized store. The clothes are stylish & down right charming. And then they have yummy snacks, fantastic jewelry, & brand new smaller items aka socks, headbands. etc... However last time I was in there I ran into art supplies. Brand new, incredibly well priced, art supplies. All parents should remember that come school project time. I highly recommend this absolutely wonderful thrift store. And make sure you spend a little time browsing. I guarantee something is going to jump out & find its way home with you. In my case, it's usually a rug. lol

It is a very nice store where you can get anything you need for a low price instead of a really high price also everything you get from here will last you for a long time without breaking.
