Went out of their way to help me get the price I saw online and saved me a good amount of money. She was nice and drew my blood painlessly/quickly.

This morning I had an excellent experience at the LabCorp on Grand Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado. Knowing that there might be a large crowd, I went online and signed up for an appointment. The form I had to fill out online was not too difficult and it even said that when I was in the parking garage I could click on the website and it would inform them that I had arrived for my appointment. The lady that checked me in was excellent, as was the technician who did the blood draw. They were not just interested me as a patient, but as a person. I will not hesitate to go there again. I certainly found the website for getting an appointment to be an excellent option. Thank you for your great work!

Do not deserve a star. Phlebotomist struck a nerve in my arm while drawing blood. This occurred on 9 June. As of 21 June I still have pain radiating down my arm. Phlebotomists should be liceensed in order to draw blood. Labcorp personnel have been

Labcorp is the preferred lab on our health insurance plan, with multiple locations in our area. They have kiosks available to expedite the check in process. It is best to create an appointment on their website, as their is often multiple people waiting. If the wait is long and I do not have an appointment, I can usually go to an alternate location and not wait as long. Lab results are available to view online and can be printed to take to medical appointments to providers that did not order it. Invoices can easily be viewed and paid online. One improvement that can be made is the availability to request the results to be sent to multiple medical providers. This should be able to be requested on the kiosk or online when making an appointment. They will sometimes do it by verbal request at the time of service, but some of those medical providers claim that they never received them. Wish our government would mandate electronic medical records for everyone to avoid duplicate testing and the ability of any medical provider to view the patient's full medical history.

Our pediatrician referred us to lab corp because our insurance required it. We went to get a bilirubin test on our 4 day old baby because she was a bit jaundiced. Labcorp took forever to get the labs back to the doctor. This is a same day test. The doctor put the order in as "STAT" because we needed to have it back that day in order for us and the doctor to make a medical decision. They were not cooperative with the doctor. They were so uncooperative and took so long to get us the results that we ended up, out of medical necessity, having to go to the hospital to get the follow up labs done out patient. It was so bad our doctor recommended that we go to the hospital out of medical necessity. The entire point of their existence as a company is to offer medical lab services, and if they are going to continue offer medical lab services then they need to properly staff their labs so that medically necessary labs can come back in a decent time, especially when the doctor requests it. They cannot treat their business as if they are staffing a dairy queen because they are not dealing in non-essential commodities! Ice cream is a commodity; a human baby and her health are not commodities!

Lied about doing STAT results. We checked with LabCorp customer service the day before to make sure they could do STAT for our specific test and they said they could. At the end of the blood draw they informed me STAT results aren't something they do. Go somewhere else if you can.

If I could give zero stars I would. I've never received worse care in my life. The doctors and nurses treat you like an animal. They do not explain any procedures they order and they do not explain any care you're receiving. They are either severely short staffed or just completely incompetent. They flooded me with IV fluids to the point where I gained 30lbs in water weight in 3-4 days and had difficulty breathing as a result. It took 5 hours to be discharged after the doctor gave the ok. The food is an absolute atrocity and it's the most disgusting thing in the world and it takes them at least an hour to bring you anything you order. Had to go back into the hospital for a second time because they never figured out what was wrong the first time. Fast forward two months and I still don't have a diagnosis. The nurses and doctors don't both to read the charts and ask you the same questions over and over. They don't believe you at all when you tell them information. They do not listen to anything you have to say. Was put through several completely unnecessary tests and procedures that didn't help me all and didn't aid in my healing process. The patient advocates do not help when you have a problem and need help. I was inquiring about a procedure and the lady asked me "Are you sure you had that procedure done?" Are you serious? Just because you are incompetent with a computer... She also said, "well I doubt they would just go in there all willy-nilly and be like 'well we don't have anything better to do today might as well do this procedure.'" Because I had a question as to WHY they did the procedure in the first place because nobody explained it to me. My insurance company has paid the hospital almost $100,000 and I still don't have a diagnosis or any clue as to what my medical problem is and I am still in the same position as I was before. I am still in pain and my condition has remained unchanged. I would actually rather die at home than go back to that hospital.

Layout of the hospital is kind of confusing and I got lost trying to find the L&D ER. The room I was placed in was large and clean. The nurses were very nice, friendly, and explained everything to me. However, I wasn't allowed to deliver here because I was only 27 weeks along and Parkview is not equipped to handle micropreemies. Step it up, Parkview! You're the only place to deliver a baby for miles! Time for a NICU upgrade!

I went to Parkview ER because my blood sugar was approaching ketoasidosis levels, very dangerous. They had me sign in, took my blood pressure and told me to collect a urine sample. I watched other people go to the window to complain that they'd been there over 4 hours and still waiting. I asked how long my wait will be and they told me between 4 and 8 hours. Since this does nothing to help me, I told them I was leaving. I asked to get my co-pay check back. They told me it had already dropped into the vault and they would send it back to me later. Now they are refusing to send it back and billing my insurance for a full visit, saying I "received services." I can and did take my own blood sugar reading and they had no business submitting the sample to the lab when I informed them I was leaving. The business manager's comment was "you wouldn't go to the gas station and not pay." I told him I would not wait 4 hours to get gas. These people have no oversight and submit claims to get paid even though they did not see me or help me, only prep me. Stay far away from this place if you can or you'll be sorry.
