I got a gift card for this place for Christmas in which I used to purchase a new pair of boots. After about 3 months, the heel ripped off the right boot. Which I must admit that was pretty freaking quick, work boots usually last me 3-5 years. It's probably just a one-off fluke.
Anyway, I lost the receipt, so I went in there hoping they would be able to look it up by phone number. It was my first time in Cavender's, and I guess I didn't expect to be back for a good while, so I didn't put in my phone #.
However, they were able to find the transaction in their system by combination of it being a gift card purchase and the boot brand/style to find my transaction and traded me out for a new pair. Top notch customer service. Had I gone anywhere else, I'm sure I would have had to eat the loss due to not having my receipt.

I purchased some Wrangler, jeans, and a cinch shirt. When checking out, I asked if Cavenders offered military discount. I was told yes, but when I received the sales receipt, the discount was only applied to the shirt. I am surprised that an all American brand like wrangler would not allow a store to offer a military discount. I asked the young lady behind the counter, what my reason be For only discounting the shirt and she had no answer. It appears the company only honor is veterans half the time. Rather disappointed in what is billed As an American loving store. The next time I need one item, I might consider going to this place. But I’d rather doubt it.

Took my daughter for some new boots and a cowgirl hat. Service was excellent, including a cleaning and fitting of the hat. Made her birthday perfect.

They had what I came to buy and their products are great. However, it was probably one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I was very disappointed with the attitude of each employee and the lack of effort they put in to their jobs. I will probably never be returning to this location and heading to a different boot/western outfitter.
