“I few months ago I was given the contact information for Champlain's Collision & Refinishing in Pueblo, Colorado by an autobody repair shop in Colorado Springs. My car had rust issues on the roof stemming from a previous repaint from an autobody shop in Colorado Springs. The original paint problem was a factory issue that did not present itself until away the original car warranty had expired. We discussed the rust and paint issues. We discussed repair options. I was concerned with the possible cost of the work, so I was conservative with the amount of work to be included in the estimate proposal from Champlain's. My car a 2004 Mercury Marauder. The next day I received an email with the Estimate attached. The total cost of the estimate was a little lower than I was preparing myself for. I immediately contacted Champlain's to state that I agreed with the scope of repair work and the cost as explained in the Estimate and schedule a date to bring the car in. A day or two before the appointment I noticed the paint on the hood with faded in an area that I had not noticed prior to the first visit at Champlain's. The morning of the appointment I arrived and showed him my concern regarding the paint on the hood. He suggested that it would be less expensive to include the hood repaint now rather than at a later time. I asked for an estimate of this additional work. He stated an estimate for the hood. I agreed with the amount and apologized for the increase of work at this late date. He was very easy to speak with and very knowledgeable regarding paint and autobody work. A few days later I received a call from Champlain's regarding schedule. It appears that a rush repair job (Pueblo Police car) needed priority in scheduling. I said that I agree with the need for immediate need for repair of the Police car before my cars work. I couple of weeks later I received a call from Champlain's regarding the front bumper of my car. Any work on the front bumper was not part of the original work. I asked for an estimate of cost for this additional. They stated a cost, and I agreed to proceed with this additional work. A few weeks later I received a call the work is complete and the exact amount of the final invoice. Due to snow, I stated I would be there a few days later. When I arrived, the car was waiting for me. I inspected the work on my car and found it to be better that my expectations. Champlain's recommended cleaning and paint protection ideas for the next 90 days while the new paint cures. The cost of the work was very fair, and the quality of the work made my car look new again. Champlain's was great to work with. I have been contacting my friends and telling them about my great experience working with Champlain's.”

With our big engine, we can’t just go anywhere… We found McCandless and crossed our fingers that they would be able to help us first thing Monday morning. Sure enough, Shane greeted us and was right on it. He explained that if we could give them just a few, they could get a tech in and get us taken care of. When Wade got a hold of our bus he had everything checked out including our original issue, an oil change, and a leak fix in just a couple hours. “The employees here at this location were absolutely the best. We were traveling through the state and had a breakdown. We were able to work on the car in the parking lot. Tony and the other lady working with him were absolutely amazing. They helped us look for the parts we needed. It was hot outside and they let me and my kids cool off inside the store while my husband worked on the car. They were compassionate and friendly and while we were there we saw Tony and the other lady working with him go outside and help several customers in the parking lot. Tony offered to help several customers check their oil and various other things with out them even asking as did the other lady working that day. If you need assistance they go above and beyond there. They helped make a bad experience more tolerable.”

I rolled in earlier today after the glass company I was doing business with found some serious rust around my A-pillar that needed to be taken care of; I was worried it’d be a few days before anyone could get to it, but the owner here took a look at the problem area and got another piece properly welded in within 30 minutes. “Generally happy with the work, although they rescheduled the return date of my vehicle 4 times, went well over the written estimate, left tape residue on the bumper, and left out a clip to hold the bumper parts flat and flush. Had to go back twice to get it fixed right.”
“Had an issue with trailer brakes on my truck harness, took it in on a scheduled appointment, and far labor fixed all my wiring problems. Even got a gooseneck harnesses installed. I've had both my trucks wiring fixed here. Their crew and bay is perfect for testing lights and brakes for trailers ... Highly recommended making an appointment for faster service ?.”
