I’ve never had such a negative experience in my 40 years of wearing glasses. The people that work at this location are rude, and impatient with their customers. They refuse to bill insurance, and charge way too much for poor quality glasses. They tell people to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed by their insurance. They’re not contracted with Manhattan vision, so I had to file a claim myself. They don’t let me choose the frames I want. They literally told me that the frames I wanted looked terrible. It’s my face that has to wear them not there’s. Don’t ever go to ABBA Eye Care unless you want to be treated like you’re an idiot. This was my first and last visit with them.

The service was good and their doctors are knowledgeable but I was unhappy with the labs production of the glasses. They cracked from stress a month and a half in and 5 months in one just popped out of the frame. Good eye doctor buy glasses somewhere else.

Awesome customer service, very pleasant, friendly, and professional staff. We move down to Southern Colorado almost 10 years ago and started our eye health-care at ABBA and really don't see us going anywhere else.

To start with they don't currently have a in house doctor. They take a picture of your eye then everything is done remotely. The 2 techs were right there with you during the process but I still would like to see a real person. I was not told ahead of time that this was the case and when my family of 5 showed up for our exams we were told we would be charged a $38 fee per person for the digital pictures to be taken. Those were not paid for by my insurance so that was an extra $190 that was out of my pocket that I had no idea was coming. If I would have known this ahead of time I would have made an appointment at another branch with a real doctor. Just want to say the Tech's are great and really try to help ease your apprehension with the whole process. IMO my kids didn't do all that well with it and again I would have liked them to see a in person doctor. I was told by the office manager that he was sorry for the confusion and that he would talk to the staff. I personally think they don't tell you ahead of time so that you will still show up. The optical staff is very slow and don't seem to be very knowledgeable. If you need to get glasses I would personally go somewhere else. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the techs are great especially Donovan.

The last two time I been there the manager Tony Forcefully slapped me on my shoulder, I told him not to do that again, the very next moment in passing he smacked his coworker Donavon on the back so hard you hear the thud across the office. HE SHOULD KEEP HIS HANDS TO HIMSELF!

I was very impressed with the Technician Donavon. He immediately put my apprehension of doctors and physical exams at easy. He is the best at what he does because he fascinated with the intricacies of the human eye... Went back to pick up my glasses and the people behind the desk we extremely unfriendly and the worker named Tony, handed me my glasses with an angry look on his face that made me feel very intimidated. Then he told me he hasn't sleep last night then reach for my face to adjust my glasses. I was so uncomfortable with the way he was looking at me, that I flinched away in caution then proceeded to get up out of the seat and rush out the door. The prescription is all wrong on my glasses.

I went in to get glasses made. The lenses were very poorly done. The alignment of the prescription does not fit the position to where I look out to read. I needed to bend the frames way out of shape to fix the alignment of the prescription. They are not professional enough the listen and understand what they need to do to fix the problem. They just keep telling me I need another eye examination. I keep telling them the alignment of the prescription to my eyes is what needs to be fixed. When I bent the frames enough it distorted the frame from what they are supposed to look like. But I can see out of them perfectly. I don't want distorted frames I want the lens made right.

Conclusion: customer service in this town is horrendous…find a better place.Came in to get my daughter replacement frames after sister broke them. Since my experience at kids academy was so poor we decided to try this place, from reviews. The front told me that we needed a Rx,I told her we got one from kids academy,she insisted it needed to be a physical copy in hand.(? never had a place say this before)I told her we would just be looking until we could go to the other side of town.She said we need the Rx before we could even look at frames…Its all good…I’ll take our business elsewhere…I suggest not wasting time with this placeWill update with our choice after found.

Came in to get my eyeglass frames adjusted here for the first time. The only reason I came is because they’re open later than other place on Saturdays, prob cuz they need something to make them competitive. I handed her my $500 glasses and she says, “okay I’ll do the best I can but I’m not liable if they break” I stopped her and said, “excuse me what do you mean you think you might break them?!” She said, “yes they need to be heated up.” I said, “not once ever in 33 years of wearing glasses have I ever had anyone say they might break my glasses and I’m legally blind without my glasses.” She’s like, “oh so do you not want me to do it (risk breaking your classes and causing temporary blindness?!)” I said, “no, I don’t feel confident in your capabilities and will go see a professional” and left. I also know why they welcome walk-ins too. Save yourself the trouble a find a place with more professional and experienced staff
