Just spoke with the Peyton PostMaster and she confirmed that people are known to be stealing mail in Peyton and they won't change the locks on community mail boxes because whoever is doing it can just make another copy and continue stealing mail. Completely unacceptable answer to just throw your hands up and not do anything about it. This has been going on for YEARS. She more or less told us to call USPS Office of Inspections and/or the Sherriff's Dept. Complete incompetence all around from USPS and they are clearly not going to anything about the theft anytime soon.I've submitted a report with the OIG but we'll see if that goes anywhere.

Don't go here. They'll lose your package then yell at you about it like it's your fault. Rachel is a real peach. No help at all. I got told that there are no numbers to call because no one will want to help because it's busy season. My package is lost and there is nothing they can do apparently. Man the government is great at running operations. What a Fn joke.

2 packages marked delivered and never received. I believe they have a thief stealing packages. Most people would return mail that isn’t there’s and placed in the wrong box. The most recent one was marked as being delivered to one of the boxes but I never got a key. They haven’t tried to help recoup the money lost either. Once it’s marked delivered it’s impossible to get your money back or a replacement from the companies you order from. I think they know that so they mark them and then steal them. I’ve never had this issue when I lived in town. The last package my daughter ordered with money she worked for. They claim it’s because her name is different but we’ve had many things ordered over the last year and didn’t get lost and I put her name on the box when I opened it initially. I am very upset with this situation. If they actually do anything to remedy this situation I will take my review back but I seriously doubt anything will come of it.

The absolute worst post office I have ever experienced. My packages either get lost or delivered to the wrong parcel boxes.

If I could give negative stars I would.Out of 16 mailboxes there are only 2 oversized spots and if those are full they don’t deliver your package. I have had to cancel many orders (5 that I can think of automatically) in the last couple of months because our delivery lady won’t drop them at the houses if the boxes are full. You get paid to deliver mail even if the 2 boxes are full, not hold onto packages for days (one was over a week). We have lived in many states and couldn’t even tell you how many postal employees we have had but this is by far the absolute worst. Never experienced the laziness we do here from carriers who actually have to go to each house not a consolidated mailbox like the majority of this area. This is why so many prefer FedEx and UPS!

Ive had the package waiting in my mailbox for the past 2 days. It has been refused to be picked up twice When I confronted the postal worker she ignored me and drove away.

Absolutely terrible. Delivery drivers can never get the right address and have had multiple packages stolen because the neighbors here don’t return things that aren’t theirs and the Post Office doesn’t do anything about it. At best the Post Office says it’s your fault as a receiver, even when they have their own proof they delivered it wrong. Would rate 0 if I could.

I came in to get my new mailbox keys and mail they have been holding. The employee who helped me was very helpful and friendly. Also, he asked if we had filled out new residence info cards yet for all the names living in the house. He highlighted all the spots I needed to fill out. Nice guy

My regular post office is Calhan. My carriers are awesome. Always friendly, helpful, and down right professional. They take pride in their jobs and how they treat their customers. The Peyton P.O. is exactly the opposite I have stopped using Sunday delivery from Amazon as the peyton post office is the office that does these deliveries and they have never gotten it right. They have delivered to a completely different address a mile away. They have scanned a package delivery attempted but no on home when I was home all day waiting for them. (Found out later that they regularly do that without the package ever leaving the facility). The final straw was yesterday the peyton postal vehicle pulled up in front of my door, stopped for a second, and then pulled out. I tried to wave them down but they just took off scanning my package as delivery attempted. I caught them today and asked about it and the carrier said she didn't know where she was or even if she had a package for me. This location is incompetence at its finest.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Peyton Post office, where packages were consistently lost, and mail was not delivered as expected. This has been an incredibly frustrating and inconvenient ordeal, prompting me to share my feedback. The primary issue I encountered was with packages that were marked as "delivered" according to the postal tracking system, but were nowhere to be found. It is incredibly disheartening to receive notifications stating that a package has been delivered, only to discover it is missing. The lack of reliability and accountability in ensuring accurate delivery information is a significant concern.Furthermore, there were instances where the mail delivery itself was inconsistent and unreliable. Essential mail items were delayed or failed to arrive, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This lack of timely and efficient mail service is deeply disappointing and undermines the trust that should exist in a postal service.Attempts to resolve these issues were met with mixed results. Contacting the local post office yielded limited assistance, with little clarity provided regarding the missing packages or undelivered mail. Communication and transparency were sorely lacking, leaving me feeling frustrated and without any recourse. It is my hope that the Peyton Post office takes these issues seriously and implements necessary measures to improve their service quality. The mishandling of packages and failure to deliver mail on time are matters that require immediate attention and resolution. Enhancing training, refining tracking systems, and ensuring effective communication channels could help alleviate these persistent problems.I strongly urge the Peyton Post office to reevaluate their processes and prioritize customer satisfaction. Reliability, accountability, and effective communication should be the cornerstones of any postal service, and regrettably, they were sorely lacking in this particular experience.I sincerely hope that others do not encounter the same issues I did and that steps are taken to rectify the shortcomings within Peyton Post office. A reliable and efficient postal service is essential for individuals and businesses alike, and it is crucial to restore faith in the service provided.

THEY decided to start returning my mail without any explanation. Of course junk mail WAS delivered! Other addresses on the street, is in the box! Still not getting all mail. After reading posts, I don't think I will try calling. What happened to just BASIC customer service? Like reading the address on the letter!

I'd give them zero stars if I could. We had to put our mail on hold because our community mailbox had been vandalized and someone basically went into all the mailboxes and stole everyone's mail. I live in Meridian Ranch and the only reason we found out is because we went to check our mailbox after having COVID and being stuck in the house for a week, and there was nothing there. So my husband called, and the dude that answered and the moment my husband gave him our address was like..."oh yeah, those mailboxes were broken into." Um...ok...so now what do we do? He said well, you can call the sheriffs, and uh, do a report but they can't really do anything. So...I called the postal inspector who said that he would look into it, he was more concerned over the fact that the post office knew that mail was being stolen and did not notify residents or anything like that. He said they should have informed us. So after that, I had to put my mail on hold. It's been a month. My birth control was delivered on Saturday, guess by who, the USPS postal service. And it said they delivered it to our mail locker...um...what?!? Instructions are hard to follow I know....my husband just grabbed the mail yesterday and he didn't get it so I called them to see if maybe he forgot something...the woman on the phone was so freaking rude. I explained to her that someone was taking our mail and they were breaking into our mailbox, and she proceeds to cut me off and correct me and say that...whoa, they just tampered with the mailboxes to make it easy to open, no one "broke" into them...geez sorry lady. Not like it makes a difference. She went to check if it was with them. They didn't have it. She asked for the tracking number, in a tone that made me feel like I was an idiot. I know how to track my package. So I gave it to her, and she said well, yeah he should have just left it here at the post office since there is a hold on your mail...so I was like um ok...and she was like well, I'll take your number and I'll ask him what he did with it. The first package they took was my Victoria's Secret panties...and now my birth control. I have like zero faith in USPS and those who work at this post office. I felt like I was on a episode on Roseanne being talked to like I'm an idiot.
