When you walk into the Refinery in Paonia, Colorado, you are greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile. There are lots of fun things to look at, gifts for everyone from babies on up and there's a really good chance that you'll find something for yourself that you just have to have. The prices are very reasonable and you'll walk out feeling happy that you found something wonderful.

The Refinery is the Best use of artistic design and commitment to reusing and remaking and restyling and keeping clothing out of the landfill! It was always unique for its time, with so special one-of-a-kind items, and it continues to be a very special maker and selling place that is a highlight of shopping in Paonia.

Refinery is a beautiful space adorned with racks of joyfully colorful Elisabethan designs, meticulously curated consignment items, and an impressive array of unique gifts by artists whose creations Betty has personally chosen. I can't go in there without buying some eye-catching present for someone or myself!

Great store - featuring Elisabethan Clothing also has some gently used quality second hand clothing and shoes for both men and women. Also a selection of artists' work, cards, jewelry, and gift items. Wonderful staff.

I always love popping into the Refinery! The store is so beautifully decorated, there's always fresh inventory, and I always appreciate walking away with treasures that don't make my wallet ache. Like today, a bourgeois cotton dress in a beautiful Indian print, another cotton print wrap around mini skirt for a girlfriend, and THE black leather boots that I've been seeking for over five years for about $30!
