We recently led a group of friends and fellow vintage Porsche enthusiasts for a trip through Paonia. Julie and her staff hosted us for lunch and wine sampling. The wine, food and service was fabulous!

2019 Syrah is bold, dark, and has plentiful tannins. Will age well. I recommend scooping up a case and aging past 2025. Pairs well with rich chocolate and meat heavy charcuterie.

Fabulous place to stop for dinner and a glass (or bottle or two) of REALLY good wine. The wine is complex and so very satisfying. The chef clearly takes pride in the food he prepares, and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. I stop there every time I'm in the area.

Root and Vine Market is out restaurant serving dinner only during the winter month and delicious charcuterie . Enjoy a fabulous meal on our special patio with a breath taking views surrounded by beautiful gardens. This is a special place in the North Fork Valley.
