Pretty sure this place may need to be investigated or something, because my father was booked in and they said he was experiencing acid reflex when he was having symptoms of a stroke, I'm quite disappointed and expected better from a "medical center"

Do not send your parent here if they are sick. Send to ER. They saw my mom who was sick with Covid and failed to process her medications. The doctor left without making sure the meds got sent to the pharmacy and now it's day 2 of calling the after hour service to try and get her meds. Very unprofessional. She may still have to go to the ER just to get meds. They failed.

I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful hospital and clinic. I’ve been coming a lot lately to figure out what’s happening with my health and I absolutely ? love every single person that I’ve met while there. The cafeteria is so much fun and really great food. They feed my soul too!
The health care professionals are so great at helping me and all people! I see it and have enjoyed every minute that I see in action! I want to personally thank Phil Zappone and Dr. Brown for being so supportive of my blight in finding out about my health issues. God bless you all and may God bless our America ❤️

This place is a total joke, understaffed and terribly inefficient. The doctors don't care, the staff is probably paid less than McDonald's, the ER is loaded constantly. Expect is you do magically get seen you will be waiting for the entire day. Absolutely horrible. My gout is extremely painful and all I can do is eat ibuprofen and get stomach ulcers because they can't write a simple script

I was treated at the Emergency Department of PSMC June 2024.
I had a severe food allergic reaction and was seen promptly and professionally by Dr Halterman and the nursing staff.
The knowledge and caring was superior.
I’m a family physician with 40 years in practice and feel I am a good judge of medical facilities.
Highly recommend PSMC.

This is the worst hospital hands down. They can never do anything right every time I go it takes forever, they lose lab and diagnostic testing orders or they don't have the right paperwork. I took my 5 month old to the walk-in clinic because she was throwing up and the nurse came out and said the clinic was full and they wouldn't see her. My doctor was out of the office. Like seriously 5 months old. Babies and children should take priority. I had to come to google because they aren't even smart enough to have a complaint/concerns section on their website. Half the time we just drive almost an hour to the hospital in another town.

Dr. Andrew Buck
Today's visit with Dr. Buck was no different than any of my visits. Each and every interaction has been informative, understanding, reassuring and patient centric. His approach, manner, professionalism, makes one feel special and respected.
I also find Dr. Buck's patient approach and ability to connect most inclusive all of which fosters trust that in him, his diagnosis, treatments are is spot on and relevant to my condition and persona. Personally, the standard in Oncology demands a unique skill set, Dr. Buck has that in spades.
To sum up, I am very happy that I'm his patient.

I’m extremely frustrated with PSMC primary care. I had an appointment scheduled for April 30. They called me a few weeks prior and said they had to reschedule to June 10. They had nothing sooner. Fine. I just got another call today telling me they have to reschedule again! This time, the soonest they can see me is August 12 .. . more than 3 months after my initial appointment! I will be very surprised if they actually keep the August appointment. They have little consideration for their patients.

We have tried calling this medical center numerous times over the last week, leaving multiple voicemails for getting a prior authorization for an MRI order that the hospital has from our orthopedist. They don't return calls, don't submit prior authorizations, and give you the run around about getting it done. Go anywhere else for your MRI or any medical needs- I now realize why they have so many open appointments for getting an MRI done with their radiology department.

I called this hospital to get some answers about billing for an elderly, ill friend. The woman I spoke to over the phone was very helpful. I had a question about medical power of attorney, so the woman I was speaking to transferred me to Denise in records.
Denise answered all my questions and seemed to sincerely want to help. When she didn't know an answer, she admitted it instead of making something up. She offered so much assistance.
My friend and I ended up going to the hospital to speak to Denise in person and sign a HIPAA release form. Denise was, again, so helpful.
While we were speaking to Denise, my friend began to feel poorly. Denise got him a bottle of water and remained him to take deep breaths. She was so compassionate and kind, and is a real asset as a member if this hospital's staff.

I took my two year old daughter to the ER on Saturday due to her being extremely lethargic and completely out of it. They tested her for RSV and it came back positive. The doctor came in and said "just give her Tylenol and Motrin." The nurse came in to hand us discharge paperwork to leave. I HAD TO ASK THEM TO CHECK HER OXYGEN AND VITALS. My baby's O2 was in the 70's with high blood pressure and high heart rate. If you go here please advocate for yourself and your babies. Checking vitals should be the basics to be done. Had I not said something I don't even want to know what could have happened with my daughter. I will be filing a formal complaint because I don't want this happening to anyone else.

My husband was treated here after a fall down a flight of stairs. Nurse Ceecee, Radiologist April, and Dr. Stevenson checked his injuries, ran tests, and cleaned his cuts and scrapes. Their work was done professionally and efficiently. We were very pleased with the care he received there, and we appreciate the workers and all they did to provide pain relief and make him more comfortable.

This place literally tried to kill my mom. She fell and severely broke her leg, an ambulance brought her to their ER- all they did was give her so many pain pills and muscle relaxers that it lowered her respiration to dangerous levels, and then because her family was not in town (we live in denver) they kept calling saying she couldn’t stay at the facility unless I paid $2500 up front over the phone, and they didn’t believe she had insurance (SHE DID, but it didn’t matter what her family or she said) they literally put her in a TAXI NEAR DEATH and sent her to a motel in pagosa springs for the night until we were able to complete the drive from Denver. The taxi driver was so appalled that she bought some things for my mom from the grocery store and kept checking on her all night. These people are literally evil. DO NOT GO HERE BEG THE AMBULANCE TO TAKE YOU ANYWHERE ELSE. They didn’t even put a splint or do basic first aid for her. Once we got her back to Denver and to a denver hospital, she immediately given oxygen and scheduled for surgery. The break was so severe that she was in a wheelchair for six months before a year of rehab and learning to walk again. Pagosa springs medical center ER is literally full of attempted murderers.

Went to the ER after my wife had a skiing accident. The entire staff was extremely professional, caring and quick!Followed up the next day with the walk-in clinic at the hospital. Again the entire staff was extremely professional, caring and we were seen promptly. Best hospital experience ever!!
