Libby Tener did my wedding day hair and makeup. I highly recommend her to any bride near Ouray. Libby guided me through the process and helped me pick the best option for my skin and hair type. I found her advice helpful. For example she picked the best foundation type to last a windy outdoor wedding. Libby styled my hair back in February and the cut (a bevelled bob) has been one of the best I've ever had, allowing me to grow my hair ready to tie back during summer activities-with no bad hair days! She understands the active lifestyle and low-maintenance women like me.

Libby has been cutting, coloring, and styling my curly hair since I moved to Ouray from NY 3 years ago. I have never been so confident and inspired by a stylist—and my corkscrew curls have never looked so good! Libby’s skills with curly hair exceed those of the most expensive “curly stylists” in DC, where I lived for 5 years. I highly recommend Libby and the stylists at Salon Monti!

Libby is a very kind human but she cut my hair in Feb shorter than I have had in years and I was so devastated I ended up getting hair extensions not comfortable to wear and very expensive. I spoke w a friend and her hair was also cut short by Libby and she knows someone else who got their hair cut by Libby and was cut too short. Just beware w her and make sure she understands “barely a trim” it has been a horrible experience w extensions and my hair length is still not back to what it was in feb since the cut. It looks like she cut more than she said she did based on pics before the cut and now. She’s a nice lady but just beware. She refunded the Money for my haircut but I had to pay 700 already for extensions. Just a big nightmare.

Libby did a fantastic job on my hair! It's been months since I've had a cut due to the pandemic, but Libby managed to bring my hair back to life and to its former glory.The Salon itself is nice too. Mountain views out the front windows. Very comfortable chairs. Decorated pleasantly. If there'd been a beer in my hand it would've been just perfect.
