I was only in town for a few days and needed a gel manicure. Donna was booked, but took my name and number down in case she had a cancellation and she did! She text me immediately and I was there in 15 minutes. She was kind, professional and personable. I enjoyed our conversation while getting my nails done and she has lots of great recommendations of things to do and places to eat in Ouray and the surrounding area. Love my nails too!! ?

I had the most wonderful experience with Donna at Salon Envy! I had no idea what I wanted with my hair & she made my random/scattered ideas come to life in such a perfect way!
She was so friendly and easy to get along with, which made the experience that much better too.

My wife and I did hair and makeup for our wedding here and had a wonderful experience! I had my hair in a tight bun and it stood the test of time for 20 hours without a single hair out of place that whole time. It withstood a very bumpy Jeep ride too. I didn’t need any touch ups on my makeup either. My wife’s hair and makeup was also so beautiful and we couldn’t be happier we went here for our special day!Service: Hairstyling

My wife had her ears pierced in December in Denver but her hole closed up unexpectedly overnight while on vacation in Ouray. Made a quick stop here and they squeezed us in and they were able to re-pierce it quickly for us! Super friendly and nice

So I am getting married in April of this year. I have been trying to get in contact with this salon since September of last year to set up my hair and make up.In those 4 months I have talked to Donna once, and she blamed it on my phone not being able to receive her calls. Even though I had missed 2 of her calls, and answered the third time she called. She immediately blamed her poor communication on me. I don't think this is very professional of her, especially when I'm looking for her business.I spoke to her over a week ago and she said she would email me a quote for my bridal party and me. I still haven't received anything from her.It really sucks because there aren't many options for hair and makeup salons in Ouray. This is one of my few options but I will not be using her services because of the way I was treated on the phone and the horrible communication.

5 stars is not enough! I had my hair done for my wedding elopement and it turned out perfect! I have very thick and straight hair that is impossible to curl. I recommend booking months in advance if you are thinking of having any special event! There were at least three elopements that weekend and several people trying to call last minute! My mom and I had really great experiences here! I had bridal hair and makeup done while my mom only had an updo done. Everything turned out so great. We received so many compliments! Everyone was kind, courteous, and made sure they were doing our hair and makeup exactly how we wanted. Would definitely come here again.Service: Hairstyling

I don’t like to write bad reviews on anyone but I think this might help the owner provide better service if she wants to charge top dollar prices. I came in to have my eye brows cleaned up and tinted. I also decided to have my eye lashes tinted. The person was very friendly and professional but lack the experience to provide the service. I had to ask to have my eye brows cleaned up more after the waxing. I left with dye around my eye brows and under in eyes. After leaving I did came back in to ask if she had something I could use to get the black dye removed from my skin under my eyes. This is Basic stuff that a experience salon should know and do.

I had the best experience here! I really needed some work done on my hair and Aegis did an amazing job! She spent her time going over what look and color I wanted, and it turned out lovely! The color and cut was perfect. I got the moisture conditioning treatment as well and I can really see and feel the difference. Highly recommend Aegis and this salon. Will be going back!
