Very clean and comfortable hotel. Beautiful gardens, pet friendly, wonderful location walking distance to everything.
Rooms: The room was perfect for our 24-hour stay. It was very quiet and comfortable. It was right next to the river and the dog park. Needs minor updating, but we were really relaxed staying here.
Safety: We parked and walked all over the town and hiking trails. Everything was close. Never felt nervous about anything.
Walkability: We parked when we arrived and didn't need to be I. Our car until we left for our next destination.

Immense disappointment! I was travelling with my 2 dogs; booked and confirmed my "dog" room months in advance only to find that they keep the air-conditioning turned off in 90 degree August heat until you arrive with your furry friend in the evening. The tiny wall air-conditioner did not get the room cooled until 3am so my dogs and I had to suffer in 80 degree heat for 5-6 hours!!! Their second discomfort was that our room was 1/2 story off the ground so the dogs had to walk up/down open metal-snow-grate stairs; nothing else was available for them to walk up to our room. The only good things about this hotel was that it had a nice lawn for dogs and a nice room refrigerator but I will never come back here; never.

This place is super cute! Everyone is very helpful and nice. The room is a very good size (we are a family of 5). It’s nice and quiet and conveniently located close to everything you need. The only con of this place is the beds are NOT COMFORTABLE at all. If you are used to sleeping on a super firm mattress, then you are golden. But, if you are used to sleeping on a softer mattress, bring a queen size mattress pillow topper or something of that nature. My hips and back took a beating this week unfortunately. All in all we would definitely stay here again but I will be more prepared.

The bathroom needs maintenance. Other than that it’s great. Big comfortable room. Fridge and microwave are great.
Walkability: Leave your car behind

This village is already enchanting, our accommodation was just as enchanting and the welcome we received as well, coupled with a Mexican restaurant for breakfast, which turned out to be an excellent formula;

We just got back from our 3 day Anniversary trip. This was our first time to Ouray. This place was WONDERFUL. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed.
Roxanne and her husband went above and beyond to make our stay great. They are very nice people and strive to make your stay enjoyable. We took our dog with us and she enjoyed the property as well. Plenty of room to run and play and there is a dog park right behind the property. The view of the mountains was beautiful, fire pit and hot tubs were great. the hot tubes are available 24 hours and are not crowded. A quiet place to relax.
Location if great, walking distance from town, river running on the side of the property, and at the base of the mountains what more can you ask for. There was just one disappointment: We didn't get to see the bears ? WE WILL BE BACK!!
Rooms: Rooms were very clean.
Walkability: Very close to everything.
Noteworthy details: Roxanne and her husband were very nice and went out of their way to make you feel welcome!

Stunning location, on the river, at the base of the million dollar highway. We (family of 4) were greeted by the general managers, Charlie and Roxanne. The rooms were clean and spacious. Highly recommend taking a bath in the hot tub at night (24 hours and free). Always keep an eye open for bears, we had one come pretty close to the room (he was friendly!). Morning breakfast is take-and-go: you get your bags of food and coffee from the lobby and eat it wherever you want. We had a peaceful breakfast by the river, with a view of the mountains. My father left his phone behind and the GMs were extremely efficient and friendly in sending it to our next location.
Again, this place is unique!

Very nice place. Rooms could use some updating though along with grab bars for the tub/ shower. The hosts were extremely nice.
