I have mixed feelings about this inn. * I was pleased to know they accept dogs, and the fee was fair ($30 per pet for the duration of your stay) however upon checking in, they seem pretty anti-dog by the laundry list pet policy form you have to read and sign. It was mentioned dogs are not allowed to be on the bed and the dog pet area to relieve themselves is an extremely tiny area. I was traveling with two dogs and let them know immediately after booking my reservation that I did have two dogs, and upon checkout i went into the office to check out and get a receipt and luckily saw I was overcharged for (3) dogs. To their credit, they corrected that without hassle... but I assume had I not gone into office and checked out it may have been missed. * The room itself was spotlessly clean, so kudos to the housekeeper for that! Great job! The outside premises were tidy also. * The bed was what I believe to be a full or a small queen so pretty tiny but very plush and soft! Pillows were way too firm and thick for my liking but luckily I brought my own! But beware... THICK pillows with not much give! One thing that wasn't super great was the bed only had one accessible side to get in. The other side was about 4 inches from the wall since the room was super tiny in size... half the size of a "regular" motel room. *Bathroom - the bathroom was clean, had a nice vent window in the shower area which I liked and also loved the little baseboard heater in the bathroom. The water was another story! I'll attach photos, but it was continually gross brown water... now I previously managed a hotel for 15 years and have family who own hotels and it's not uncommon to get sediment buildup in pipes in rooms infrequently occupied now and then but usually after you run the tap for a few mins it goes away. This was not the case! I took 3 showers in two days and and the person with me took 2 or 3 showers also... long 15-20 min showers and the water continued to be gross and brown. I don't know what's going on with the water and did not complain to the staff about this as I figured they probably don't have a way to remedy it.... But definitely DO NOT drink the water! It's probably safe, just very unsightly and they should fix and filter! I probably would not stay again, but if you're looking for a more inexpensive motel place, it's not terrible.

Thank you Brett for making our Honey moon great, for making us feel special and providing us with Champagne, and other yummies! And thanks for matching the price on your website. This place was very loud at night, and housekeeping wasn’t great, but overall we had an amazing view from our room, and they were very accommodating. Thanks again!Walkability: One block from Main Street

The cutest hotel I have ever stayed at. They have the best, friendliest staff. CLEAN room. Spotless. LOVE the happy hour with wine and cookies, love the hot shower with great pressure, and the best was so comfortable. Great place. They even had games to play in the lobby. The location is walking distance to all the cute shops and great places to eat and drink. We were pleasantly surprised with how much we loved it there. Thank you for a memorial vacation.

This is a great hotel. Our room was large and had a balcony that overlooked the river behind the hotel. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and relaxing to the sound of the river. Our room and bathroom were very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I used the laundry room and it was clean and I quickly got my laundry washed. The continental breakfast had a good variety of breads and bagels and donuts. Juice and coffee and milk were offered. We walked into town - a 5-10 minute walk to the charming downtown area. I will stay here again - the hotel and town are fantastic

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Ouray Inn recently, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The inn's location was a highlight for us, as it was conveniently situated close to hiking trails, making it a perfect choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The accommodating hosts were also a standout feature. From the moment we arrived, Brett and Carmen made us feel welcomed and at home. They were always ready to provide helpful recommendations and tips for exploring the beautiful Ouray area. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay, and I felt like a valued guest throughout my time there.Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast. The inn served a delicious morning meal that exceeded our expectations. It was a great way to start the day before heading out for a day of hiking or exploring the town.Overall, my experience at the Ouray Inn was wonderful. The combination of its convenient location to hiking trails, accommodating hosts, and a fantastic breakfast made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the Ouray area, and I can't wait to return for another visit in the future.

Just got back from a long weekend in Ouray and stayed at the Ouray Inn. The rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. The owner was friendly and helpful, the breakfast and happy hours were great. Breakfast rotated each morning so variety plus standbys like fruit, waffles, etc.The Inn is close to Main Street yet quiet and secluded. It was a lovely trip and we will definitely stay here again!Walkability: Located about a block or so from Main Street in the heart of town. We often just walked to meals since the Inn is so close to everything.

We came up for the Telluride Blues and Brews fest and decided to stay on the Ouray side this year. So happy we made this choice. It was perfect for us and our toddler. One thing I would note is that the rooms were exceptionally clean. I worked in the hospitality industry for many years and always do my own checks for "short cuts" and the Ouray Inn passed with flying colors. Thanks for the perfect stay!!

The wine and cookie happy hour is so cute, breakfast was homemade and was so delicious. I can’t say enough how much I loved it here. Such a positive experience and I can’t wait to go back and stay again.

The owners of this hotel are accommodating in every way.The views and things to do in town are endless. This was such a cute hotel! Owners were so helpful and friendly, room was very clean! They even went above and beyond to leave me a Birthday Treat and sign when we arrived! The ONLY reason I couldn’t give it five stars is because the bed was pretty uncomfortable and could use a firm new mattress, our backs were pretty sore from not sleeping great. Everything else here was great! We loved the location and the breakfast in the morning was refreshing with some baked goods/breakfast casserole, nicer than most hotels offer. We would definitely stay here again if we knew the mattresses were replaced with new!:)
