Beautiful waterfall and a short walk to see it. Uphill so make sure shoes have a decent grip but again short enough of a walk that you’ll make it regardless.

Wasn't feeling too good but still hiked to the falls and tried to make the rest of the hike a beautiful view of the town It was a great way to cool down after hiking down. Must visit again soon.

About Cascade Falls Park
The Lower Cascade Falls trail is a short and sweet hike to the base of a waterfall (the last in a series of seven) that carries snowmelt off the Ouray Amphitheater and down into Ouray. The Falls are set high in the eastern redstone cliffs overlooking Ouray and can be seen from many vantage points around the City. The trailhead starts at a parking area at the east end of Eighth Avenue. Enjoy the view from the Ouray Trail Group shelter or make it a longer hike by continuing on the Ouray Perimeter Trail (brochures are available at the Ouray Visitor's Center). This is a great trail for kids and dogs and offers a lovely nature experience within walking distance of historic downtown Ouray.
