We travel tremendously and just finished staying here a full week. We had our whole family and wanted to stay together so at the recommendation of the booking staff we booked the largest unit at Alpenglow and another add on one bedroom unit. Both units had non working shampoo/ conditioner in the shower. When we arrived there was a handrail broken and blinds that had fallen that we fixed ourselves for privacy. Our biggest disturbance and the reason we would not recommend returning is THE BEDS are horrible! These beds are by far the worst beds I’ve slept on since church camp in 3rd grade. The bed itself was very hard and made for sleepless nights and a very cranky vacation. The linens were not sufficient and left us very chilly in the evenings… and the temperature in this condo is only controlled by 2 window units so summer gets hot. Needs work.

I have stayed in several units, from 1-3 bedrooms, and will keep going back. They have all been very clean and well kept. Renting the three bedroom with the garage was the best deal by far. Such great space, with lots of privacy having three levels in the home. Garage was a luxury to be able to dump ice gear in after a long day and not have to struggle scraping morning ice from the car. Such a convenient location to everything in town. Really wish the hotsprings were included in the price, or at least discounted. Will be staying there again in a few weeks!

Me and my partner really liked the one-bedroom condo we stayed in! It had nice furniture and everything we needed. The fireplace made it feel romantic at night, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook before we went hiking. We slept really well in the big, comfy queen-size bed. The people who worked there were nice and helped us, which made our stay even better. We really think Alpenglow is a great place to have a special vacation in Ouray!

We had a wonderful stay at Alpenglow Vacation Rentals in Ouray! Our one-bedroom condominium was cozy, with a lovely fireplace that added a touch of warmth and ambiance to our evenings. The fully-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the dining room felt like home. The queen-size bed was incredibly comfortable. We highly recommend Alpenglow for a relaxing getaway.

I had a fantastic stay at Alpenglow Vacation Rentals during my weekend in Ouray! I selected a one-bedroom condominium, and it was cozy and well-equipped. The queen-size bed was super comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Dont plan on getting your 100 dollar deposit back we washed the dishes left the towels in one spot i dont get it im done with staying at airbnbs and renting houses i spent 800 bucks for 2 nights you really need that extra 100 hu ok but word gets around. Stayed in unit 17 and 17a

$600/night for less accommodations than we get at hotels for 1/6 the price. 4 towels for a 3 BR condo. Broken front blind, toilet runs, no paper towels, shampoo, pics showed washer/dryer but no luck there. Big space- great location and the positives end there. Cheap furniture, terrible beds, goodwill furnishings, very disappointed. Way under value and deceptive advertising. Reached out twice- no answer. Guess the owner is cash flowing but does not realize people read reviews and care about quality and value. Will not be back, nor will anyone we know.

Got a bad vibe before staying. Had all of my friends document the condition of the condo before and after the stay. We were barely in his condo. Dishes were washed, trash was taken out, bed sheets rolled up per instructions. He left a review of me on Air BnB insinuating we trashed his place. There’s an upfront $300 cleaning fee. He said it “took him 2 extra hours to clean.” Give me a break. I have a video of the condition of the condo before we left. Ouray needs to kick this guy out. Not good for the city. Don’t book with him.

Avoid host Jar gal at this location and other properties in Ouray. This person is an incompetent host, a liar, and cheat. I've wasted enough time trying to convince them to be honorable; no more time to write details in here. Just AVOID this one, and find a responsible person to do business with.

If you're fortunate to read this before renting, or cancel if you can, please heed this warning. Unit #1 is currently listed on Air B-&-B for over $300/nite total price. The problem is this host is totally irresponsible! They soaked the apartment in foul, harsh, nauseating, cleaning chemicals, creating a problem before our arrival. When advised of the problem, the host did nothing but offer excuses and apologies. After frank and lengthy wrangling, the host gave a pittance in "token of apology". This insult did not begin to cover the true economic cost of our ruined holiday. No full refund was requested, just an actual amount to recover from the lost days and wasted time in dealing with the host's huge mistakes. There are other issues with this host, but I will leave you to take your chances, if you dare.

We had a very pleasant stay in Cascade 07 during the second week of June. We found the unit just as described on the website. It was very clean, well-equipped, and made for a great home away from home. There were a few minor things that could be improved but we would absolutely consider renting from Alpenglow again.

No shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, or half the things you’d expect. After 2 days of using the 4 towels they gave us in a 3 bedroom unit they wouldn’t give us clean towels. Never seen service this poor. Also would t let us use the hot tub/spring that was onsite even though it’s advertised when you rent the place. How do places like this stay in business? Fascinating.

Rented unit 18 for 5 days of vacation. Worst place ever. Internet sporadic at best. Dish satellite tv won’t work. Can’t get anyone on phone that wants to be bothered to help.
Twin peaks acts as booking agent and they finally responded on 3 rd day.
Exhaust fan in bath doesn’t work
Sink in bath was not holding water but that did get a maintenance man to come work on
Absolutely no way to talk with anyone associated with alpenglow owner so can’t get any help
Find any place else to stay

We love staying in Ouray because we live so close to it but this is the second time I have stayed at the condos and they are by far the worst beds I have ever slept in if that's what you even want to call it I wish they would get the same beds that are at Twin Peaks lodge because it's extremely uncomfortable and when you're wanting to go hiking and Jeeping while you're there you need a good night rest but you're basically sleeping on box springs the beds constantly make noise I believe they're outdated would love to come back but will not be staying due to how uncomfortable they are
