They’re price gougers. Dropped off my 1hr job at 9am per my appointment, no call back until 5pm. Just changing differential oil, but okay maybe they’re busy.
Go to pay, (quoted $150 OTD over the phone), and the tall-ish old guy with the glasses says over $250. The techs didn’t even install gaskets or clean off the diff housings! Doubt they cleaned the mating surfaces either, I just hope the diffs at least got filled up and sealed well… no idea if they would stand behind their work if I find them leaking this weekend.
OEM gear oil + 2 gaskets costs less than $50, so what, their labor rate is $200/hr? Told him my quote and he brought it back “down” to $150. What’s does “custom labor rate” mean on the receipt? It means they’ll gouge you worse if you don’t know normal material and labor costs.
I get I’m paying for convenience, but this place stinks of bad business practices in the front and back of house. Buyer beware.

They fixed the transmission on our Ford Mustang quickly and for a reasonable price. We’ve had no issues since then. Would definitely recommend.

I am beyond impressed with Ram Transmissions. Admittedly, I was not the easiest customer to deal with. I came in for an evaluation on my Ram 2500, as the transmission was starting to give me trouble. Since I rely on my truck for work, I was in a time crunch. To make matters worse, I had issues with my credit card and had to request a rushed replacement. Unfortunately, the bank couldn’t provide me with any interim details to share with the shop. Throughout this stressful situation, Joe remained incredibly patient and professional. He went above and beyond to assist me, despite the challenges.
In the end, I got my truck back just in time, and the difference in performance is astounding—it runs like new! I can’t say enough good things about Joe and his team at Ram Transmissions. Joe, if you see this—thank you for everything!

We were so impressed on the work they did on my 2001 Lincoln. Thankful they were able to fix the problem with just an adjustment. I had taken my car to the dealership about the problem I was having starting my car and they said they couldn't find any problem. The other day I couldn't get it started, after trying to move the gear shift further to park I finally did. Well, I refused to drive my car until it was fixed. Ram Transmission only had it one day and it was fixed. Thank you so very much for your quick service and being a company I can depend on.

I think this actually speaks volumes. I am purchasing a truck they added a new transmission to. The guy I spoke with answered all my questions and was super helpful. He didn’t have to do that and it goes a long ways. If I didn’t live in Oklahoma they would have earned my business with that phone call alone. Seems like good people who do good work based on reviews and phone call. Thanks

Recent problem with the Shifter in my Ram. They looked it over and fixed the problem with a simple shortcut they knew of. No Charge. 3rd vehicle i have had them work on in the 20 years. Great communication.

The crew put in 41L80 in my 64 chevy c10 , it is awesome to actually be able to do 70 mph 22oo rpm great job joe awesome job guys

Great shop! They replaced a transmission on a '98 Explorer years ago and I had zero problems in the remaining 4 years I had that vehicle. Of course, when my '08 Raider developed 4x4 problems recently I took it to Ram. They fixed the problem in one day, and it feels like I'm driving a new truck! Thanks, y'all!

1 they quoted me a firm price of $2,700 it cam out to 2,799 so much for firm price ! On 3/8/24 they gave me a firm price to run on my debit card we agreed on $300 dollars they ran the WHOLE amount said it was an honest mistake .
2. They took the original receipts to the back of the office for some reason ,the ones they ran Friday the 8th of March hmmmmm
3.when I was Talking to Joe Stoll some other guy butted in he is bald and width to height proportionate and was rather flip about the whole thing.
4.what they say and what they do are quite different in their business model

Brought in my 97 4runner with a plethora of transmission issues. The guys were incredibly kind and had a very fast turn around. The car felt brand new after getting a rebuild and have had no issues since. Highly recommend
