Tim is amazing - a true artisan like you can't find these days. Meticulous and conscientious and HIGHLY skilled. Any type of refurbishing, repair, refinishing, etc....he's the best there is. And the shop is an authentic treasure trove! So many spectacular antiques and just cool old things you'll never find anywhere else. And you can tell Tim loves it all. Stop by, browse thru, find something wonderful you can't live without, have a nice chat, then have coffee next door. You'll be back!

Tim Wise did an absolutely marvelous refinish and restore of Great Granny’s dresser, and I couldn’t be more pleased with his work! His knowledge of his craft and attention to detail made for a superb outcome. This piece probably didn’t look as good as it does today on the day my Gran brought it home… Highly recommended for any of your precious antiques that need a touch up!

Paid $50 for vaseline glass here. The plate was labeled explicitly Vaseline glass and got home to utah to find out it was fake and not Vaseline. Make sure you check your glass with a black light. Very disappointing especially from a antique store.

A nice little spot, packed with unique antique items. An exceptional variety and amount of glassware - this is the place to go if you need a few more wine, martini, or margarita glasses. A lot of nice antique furniture with a large selection of oak chairs

A treasure of a store, full of more treasures. It is the single BEST place for Christmas shopping. If you like cool meaningful things that have a history, this is the store for you. Also the owners are great, helpful, funny making the whole experience great.

Buyer beware! The store is wonderful, and the husband seemed to know what he was doing. The woman was a horrible person who ripped me off without a second thought.I brought her antiques of mine to buy, and she pillaged what I had. Don’t give her the business. A true thief fronting as an antique store owner.

My husband and I first discovered Wise Buys 32 years ago when we purchased a lovely antique dining set. Tim dismantled every chair down to the individual spindles, dipped and stained them, re-caned the seats and created 5 new inserts for the large oak dining table. The craftsmanship was impeccable and this is still a showcase piece in our home. Over the years whether we purchased an additional antique at Wise Buys or found something on the road, we return to Tim for refurbishing the item to its initial state. Can’t say enough about Tim as a person and he is a master of the trade. We have always recommended friends searching for antiques to Wise Buys. Great shop, great people!

This shop is extraordinary. The antiques are very authentic and gorgeous and the shop is packed to the gills with amazing finds where I wanted to buy everything. There were some stunning curio cabinets, unique mirrors and even and old time stove as well as some super cool old time typewriters. There was Spode dishes and a huge collection of to die for salt & pepper shakers. It was my first visit & I will for sure be back. I have never seen a better antique shop.

Hunting for a unique gift? We stopped by Wise Buys before a dinner reservation in Niwot. My friend noticed a cookie jar her family had when she was a kid. She promptly bought it for her Mom and Dad... Great Christmas gift - great conversation about growing up - perfect! I purchased a sign for co-worker that that reminded him of his college days. They also had a vintage mantle that I am planning to add to my remodeling plans.
