We purchased a timeshare at the Klammer before Phase 1 was even complete. Since then, in 1994, we have always rented gear from T-Sports. Not anymore. The rental employees are rude to customers, the new ownership won't allow walk-ins at all and, even after receiving gear, they won't allow customers to come in and tweak their sizing after 5 p.m. Basically, the store has developed an air of superiority that is very disrespectful and casts the entire ski resort in a negative light. It will be Christy's from here on out even though we get the 10% off at T-Sports. The new ownership just doesn't seem to care.

Had a great experience renting skis from here! Laura and Kae were both so helpful and patient in making sure we were comfortable in our gear :) They also had some recommendations since I was curious about upgrading to demo skis.

Let me thank Kay and her fine crew! I have skied for approx 55 yrs. I had not skied on the latest variety of shape skis since crashing in NC 3 yrs prior and having to have a reverse total shoulder replacement. I had not skied at all since then. I wasn't sure if I could explain what kind of skis i wanted. With the staffs help they put me on a 172cm Nordica Enforcer 100. I had not ever skied anything below a 187cm. I will have to say that every run was a love affair. The conditions were groomed powder perfection without a cloud in the sky after the first day of some fresh snow. The location of the store, the staff, and rentals that looked like they had just taken them off the retail rack are the reasons to go and give them your money. Then smile & enjoy! dpP.S. Telluride is as special and unique as your Grandmothers Pecan Pie!

My wife and I came in on a quiet off-season afternoon for a ski boot fitting session with Jeff. His passion and knowledge for fitting the perfect boot to her feet is unparalleled. It's too common for someone to try to sell you the wrong boot - based on color or what's in stock. My wife was able to take her time with no aggressive sales pressure to get the boot that fit her best, and we're looking forward to longer ski days (due to happy feet) this winter. Thank you Jeff!

In the midst of a global pandemic and an overwhelming tourist season, the staff at Telluride Sports in Franz Klammer are able to remain COVID SAFE and maintain a HIGH standard of customer service. I witnessed several customers attempt to navigate the store maskless... and the employees handled the situation kindly and with great tact. They are an extremely knowledgeable and kind team that deserve acknowledgement for their work during the year of COVID. Thanks so much for your help, had a great day on the slopes, thanks to you! Will definitely return!

This store has an amazing selection! We love that they are very particular about wearing masks for all of our safety and happy to see them enforce it! Kae handled a disgruntled shopper with kindness and respect in regards to wearing masks properly...too bad they had to be told!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. This is the second time I’ve tried to go in and buy clothes and new ski boots, and each time was treated horribly. They are rude and condescending (was told he didn’t have time for me 30 minutes before they closed). Trust me, go to Christy sports!

Terrible management. Do not treat you well. Do not support these people. Many other small businesses around town that sell the same thing at a LOWER cost. And with MUCH MUCH better service and people that treat you human.

Expect to be shamed publicly and insulted for not forcing asthmatic infants or toddlers to wear masks. Terrible help, rude staff, poor management, inflated prices.

Just saw an employee insult and berate a young mother who couldn’t get her toddler to wear a mask. Appalling. This place has always had rude staff.

Expected my 2 year old to wear a mask inside and then SCREAMED at me in front of customers to get out. I’m a taxing paying resident of mountain Village and will NEVER come back to this horrendous store again!!
