“I had a wedding to attend in Montrose so I decided to call Crossfit Agoge to see if I could drop-in. John, the owner and a Firefighter, answered the phone and said it was no problem. John and I made an instant connection as I too was a former firefighter.
I dropped in to Crossfit Agoge and was quickly greeted by Coach Kelly (sp?) and other members. They were super friendly and made me feel right at home. Coach Brian (sp?) introduced himself and took his time to go over the WOD and demonstrated the movement standards.
Today's WOD was created by a former member named Martine who had passed some time ago. Although the WOD wasn't an official crossfit HERO WOD, it was clear to me that it was indeed an Agoge HERO WOD to honor Martine.
Coach Brian provided great queues and feedback. It's clear he is a master of his craft.
If you're a crossifitter and are looking for a place to WOD while in Montrose, Agoge is the place for you!”
