My 2 dogs have very different personalities (1 is a black mouth cur & 1 is a pit bull/heeler mix)& so had very different needs to be addressed. Becca did a fantastic job for setting the foundation for each of them & me. It was very hard for me to be the leader when I myself was not really sure what that meant. Becca spent valuable time with me after the dogs had been trained to make sure the lessons carried over. Thank you so much! They both are doing fantastic with their e-collars, esp when walking at our local park. They need very few reminders to heel. So now where is the guy who always asked me "who's walking who"?

It’s been a year since Alaska came home from training at Golden Heart. It allowed a clear channel of communication for her and I to build a healthy and happy relationship where we understand one another. She is at a point where we can now walk without a leash, her recall is great. She can shake, speak, and much more. She no longer fights and even avoids them. Her resource defensiveness has settled immensely. We took our first long road trip this last weekend and did awesome in the car. Here are some photos and thank you for helping us.

We're so happy we decided to do the board & train program with Golden Heart Canine for our pup, Goose. He is a high-energy, GSP mix who we adopted from a shelter a few months prior to the board & train program at Golden Heart. He had zero training when we adopted him - didn't even know how to sit on command! Even after a group class we did locally, we were struggling with recall, counter-surfing, and lots of anxiety. We chose Golden Heart because it's a quiet, rural location attached to Becca's home. The family-nature and small team made us more comfortable that Goose would get the 1:1 time and attention that we weren't sure would happen in a big city operation.Post training, I think Goose is 10x happier, and we know how to communicate with him which has seemed to reduce his anxiety. I never thought we'd get him off-leash, but you can see from the photos & videos he's doing great. I never once doubted that he was being cared for by the best team possible - we had Facebook updates multiple times a week. As part of the board & train, the team does a few sessions where they train us to ensure we're being consistent. When we picked him up, we did one of the sessions and the team spent SO MUCH EXTRA TIME with us, answering our 1,001 questions. It was amazing - so helpful to make sure we were comfortable with everything he'd learned. He's even going back for a few weeks while we're traveling to board there!I really can't say enough good things about Golden Heart Canine.

Sent my dog Mango for a 4 week training program. She came back a different dog. In a good way. I know understand her personality more and can keep her under control. Use of the e collar totally changed her life. She can now be off leash and live the life she deserves. Staff was always very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you so much

I am so grateful for everything Becca and her team did to help my boy Moose during his 30 day stay. I could tell he was happy and loved there from all of the updates and videos they posted online. Becca was so helpful at pickup teaching me what to do when I brought him home demonstrating skills and answering 100 questions. The skills have generalized to home, and he is a completely different dog from when I brought him to Golden Heart. I owe them my life. He’s much more confident, able to go in public, not pulling me down while on leash, has impulse control, recall, and basic obedience/manners. Thank y’all so much! ?100/10 recommend

Golden Heart Canine is the absolute best, paws down, when it comes to dog training. We will only use them and have only used them since we got our first pup two years ago. Both our border doodle and mini golden doodle have gone through the puppy kindergarten with amazing results! And our older dog, the bordoodle has been back twice for additional training (if you travel and have to board, why not add more skills?!) - adding the e-collar for reliable recalls and off leash responsiveness. Becca and her team have taken our girls and made them joys as pets. We get compliments of how well behaved our high energy and smart/stubborn dogs are. Our bordoodle can be a tricky one because she’s so smart, but Becca has helped us stay one step ahead of her and we’re so grateful. It’s a huge relief to have someone we trust completely with our dogs. We drive over 2 hours to board and train here without thinking about it - she’s that good!

10/10 Hannah and Becca are the best! Our rescue pup, Milo, is a mix breed cattle dog that came into our lives with some stranger danger issues when it came to meeting other dogs. He also needed some help with basic impulse control and manners. We are amazed with his progress after his 30 day board and train with Golden Heart! They helped us understand his nature and how to work with him to focus his impulse control and avoid triggering situations. He has so much energy and just wants to work and please his handler, it's just his nature. We couldn't be more grateful for the foundation that they laid, though we know it is now up to us now to continue building upon it.

I am SO happy I took my floof boi here! I love that they put updates on Facebook so I could see his progress and they let me text and check in on him, they took such good care of my fur baby, they are amazing trainers and I really appreciate Becca being so nice both when I dropped him off and when I picked him up, I was so happy to see him! He made A lot of progress with his manners and listening, and they really prepare you when you pick them up to maintain the training they did so the fur babies don’t revert to their pre training behavior. I cannot thank y’all enough for everything!

Golden Heart Canine is the absolute best! My dog Zeke went from being a very energetic, in your space pitty to being a still energetic but well behaved pitty with manners. He is happier now that I know how to communicate with him thanks to Golden Heart. They sent pictures and videos during his stay, they trained me, and they provided the best information and answered all my questions. Cant recomend enough!

Although I still have two follow-up training sessions to go through, I wanted to make sure I recognized GHC for their incredible work with our Bucky during his four week long training. I had originally reached out to a different training facility with glowing reviews that claimed the cost (astronomical) reflected the results achieved for various issues. My Husband and I were willing to pay whatever was necessary to get the help Bucky needed because we knew this was a long-term investment and the issues we were dealing with, were putting a stop to our daily lives. When we originally got Bucky at eight weeks old, I became obsessed with him and humanized him where it was unhealthy for him and for me. As he got older he became more and more demanding to the point where he wanted to be petted throughout the night and wanted our undivided attention 24/7. My husband and I began taking shifts to deal with Bucky because we were not getting sleep and this went on for over a year. My husband eventually had to start working part time because I worked from home and it became nearly impossible to get anything done with Bucky constantly trying to jump on my lap to get attention, barking at every single noise in the hallway and wanting to play. On top of that, we decided that it would be best for Bucky to remain intact for the first two years of his life and that came with its own set of issues. He started developing reactive and aggressive tendencies with every single dog we encountered. We were no longer able to take enjoyable walks or have play dates because he would immediately attack. while we were waiting for a spot to open up for him in the highly rated training facility we had originally heard of, Bucky tried to get to another dog, bit my husband‘s hand and drew blood. That same training facility recommended golden heart canine because they said they had a similar program to theirs and might have a spot available sooner. I reached out to Golden Hearts Canine and they took the time to listen to me, my concerns and questions and had a spot available for Bucky within two months. The best part was it was for nearly 1/3 of the cost. When I heard the cost I was almost skeptical because while board and train programs are not cheap and I wouldn’t say this is an inexpensive program, I would still say in comparison to most programs this was by far the best and what’s more astonishing is the end result and only in four weeks. Our lives have been completely changed. Bucky still has a long way to go on his journey, but the fact that we are able to sleep every night and go on walks without the fear of what we may encounter is some thing that we never thought would be possible for years to come. They were able to make these changes for Bucky in only four short weeks. I will be forever grateful and if this sounds extreme it’s probably because it really is. the one thing I was so worried about was that Bucky would lose his funny regal personality. I worried that by him being well behaved would make him somewhat boring and unhappy. On the contrary, we are able to enjoy his entitled sense of being without sacrificing our lives. Bucky is still demanding and at times aggressive but we understand that bad behaviors can’t be changed and fixed overnight and it will take a lot of time and work to get to the end goal. the only critique I would give Golden Hearts Canine is the lack of communication during the training, as I would’ve preferred to have more updates. the updates given on the Facebook page are less than ideal. Bucky also came home with a cut on his ear which we were told was there prior to his arrival which we are 100% sure that is not true. when we took him to the vet they said that that looked like a cut or bite from another dog. We understood what the risks were when taking Bucky to a board and train which are the same risks that we take when we take him to the park or anywhere else so I’m not too upset about it but I would’ve preferred some more transparency. All in all, I can’t recommend Golden Hearts Canine enough. They have a fan for

Our 13 month old Lab was a handful. Golden Heart gave us and her the tools to change this behavior without loosing her awesome personality. We would highly recommend GH Canine to anyone needing some help training their puppies.
