This is an older hotel that needs a lot of maintenance.The Ac unit didn't work in our room, TV didn't work (you can't make this up. It's like they didn't pay their cable bill.)The breakfast was a disaster. No biscuits to go with gravy. No cinnamon rolls. Coffee area was disgusting.Not gonna lie. Save your money.

We stayed for two nights in October, 2023. It's an overpriced Motel 6. The rooms and common areas are ok and reasonably clean. The pool and spa are also just ok, but really showing a lot of wear. The gym has four pieces of cardio equipment and some dumbells, also ok.Now let's talk about the breakfast. It was the worst excuse for a morning meal we've experienced in a long time. Bone dry eggs, greasy sausage and a few strips of bacon which might have been made in 1971. They were out of eggs both mornings. We, and other guests had to tell the front desk, they'd track down an employee, and 20 minutes later they'd refill the warmers.I could go on, but I'll just add that unless you're looking for a plate of biscuits smothered in gravy, find someplace else for breakfast.For the room prices they should be providing higher quality food. Clearly they are cheaping out on staff and it shows.

We stayed here only one night during our short vacation. The room was wonderful, with a double shower! It was very quiet and the people working were very nice. We had to call because we found ourself on the closed highway at 10pm and didn't know what to do, and the guy who answered help us a lot! We love the breakfast at Holiday Inn and even this time it didn't disappoint! We will come here again for sure to visit the Black Canyon!

One of the best, affordable options in town. Just make sure to lock your car due to the nearby transient population at Safeway. They typically leave people alone but it's up to you to make sure your property is secure.Otherwise clean hotel, nice staff, decent rooms for the cost. Not a luxury place but best value in town. We'll worth the cost.Rooms: Upholds the standard for all Holiday Inns. You know what to expect with these rooms no matter which location you go to.Nearby activities: Walking distance to gas stations, restaurants, and grocery stores.Safety: One of the safer hotels in town, though it's proximity to a large transient population at safeway can cause issues. Frequent police patrols tend to keep people honest and offer additional security.Walkability: At the south side of the downtown grid, a few amenities are within walking distance however it is about 12 blocks from main street.Food & drinks: Basic continental breakfast options.

When we were there the sprinklers had accidentally gone off so there was a strong odor in the hotel. I’m not holding that against the hotel in my scores, though.My main complaint was that multiple times I waited at the empty front desk for 10+ minutes while the staff was nowhere to be found.

Let's start with Michael the overnight front desk attendant. What a great employee and cool guy. He helped me out with a problem we were having. Understanding and helpful the entire time. As far as the hotel it's self. They keep it very clean and neat. The room was perfect and they had all we needed there. The only negative. The parking lot is a bit wonky. But that's its. Great stay.

The room was nice and clean. The bed was a welcome comfort as we'd been camping for 4 days prior. This isn't the hotel's fault, but at 5:30 AM, the dump trunk came and it was insanely loud for about 10 min. right outside our room. Breakfast was not great. The coffee was water, the pancake machine is broken, the juice was watered down. The cinnamon rolls were nice and warm though.

Room was nice. They upgraded us to a King suite because we had reserved a king bed. The pool was nice. They have two hot tubs one inside and one outside. Breakfast was decent in the morning.Rooms: The bed was goodWalkability: Lots of places to eat around the hotel

it's a very nice hotel with excellent customer service, extraordinarily professional staff, clean quiet and safe. It's a good place for staying whether just for the night or longer when a job requires it.

I stay here often for work. Great staff and breakfast is included! One morning there was only luke warm water for a shower in room 102. Informed staff and they noted it for maintenance. Great indoor outdoor hot tubs.

Nice place to stay but on the high end price wise. Indoor pool was too cold, baby got too cold really quickly. Highschool baseball teams stayed same weekend so couldn't use pool in the evenings. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not eat breakfast here but it was available. Central location and would stay again.

I stayed at this hotel for four weeks during February and March 2023. The room cleaning service is sketchy at best. They will clean your room but you have to ask for it. They do not check to determine if you need more soap, toilet paper, or bath towels. The breakfast is horrible unless you like burned eggs, sausage under cooked, and no consistency in when breakfast is ready. Don't even think about washing your uniforms from work. They only have one washer and one dryer. Be prepared to go next door to the Safeway for quarters because they never have any! They advertise Queen size beds in the rooms but they're actually full size beds. Apparently, they don't know the difference. I don't recommend this hotel unless you're desperate for a place to sleep the night. However, bring your own neck supporting pillows and your own mattress. There's will make you feel like you've slept on cardboard outside on the patio.

Location worked out best for us, no major issues with the room, but let me tell you about Heidi's breakfast, and more specifically let me tell you how good those cinnamon rolls were.... life changing! Heidi's breakfast is the best!

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The necessary amenities were available for a relaxing stay. Hot coffee, yogurt, fruit, and other items are available for breakfast. We will stay again.

We have always had a very nice stay at this hotel. The beautiful fireplace in the main room, the breakfast, the friendliness of the staff, and cleanliness of the hotel are always great. Whenever we have had an issue it has been quickly resolved. The one improvement I could suggest is to get softer beds.
