TDS has bought K-2 Cable in Mead. IN MY OPINION: If you like watching TV: Forget it. Channel selection is poor and only over-the-air sports you can get are available on an antenna -- free. Totally poor Customer Service and Tech Support. TDS will tell you Support is in the USA: Not True. I get only somewhere out of the USA or Canada. Oh! You can ask for a Supervisor and after waiting on "hold" forever you can either hang up (and someone that can't speak or understand English) or wait forever and you MAY get the USA or Canada. You will be bounced from Support to Customer Service and back over and over ... and the problem will not be solved. Wi Fi Modem/Router has poor signal range. Had to buy a Network Extender. TDS Modem/Routers come with a USB port. Forget USB if you need it. TDS has disabled the USB port on ALL of the TDS Modem/Routers. It's either TDS, CenturyLink, or some over the air internet. Welcome to Mead. Anyplace else would have a REAL INTERNET/TV/VOiP company.

Horrible customer service! Unfortunately the best internet for small town! Expensive with slow speeds! Worst home internet we as a family have ever hard. Wish there was something else to choose from!

K2 is now owned by TDS Telecom and now makes fiber based high speed internet available in Mead. I switched over yesterday. I now have tested download speeds as high as 105mb/s, which is more than 10 times faster than my previous Century Link DSL, and its cheaper too... so great improvement, and so far, worth 5 stars.
