I was just mailing some souvenir postcards and found this lovely post office. It is in a historic building, and the employee was friendly. It reminds me of the small town post office back in Texas where I’m from.

Tori is a disrespectful human who has no care at all for customer service. I came in today and I let her know some of the issues I was having with my package being delivered. I was very calm and respectful and just let her know what was going on. Her attitude and tone towards me was so disrespectful I started to shake. She has no care in the world for assisting a customer. I also was refused a tracking number for a package I dropped of and when I asked her if they could look it up or help me find it she said “nope”. Her excuse for my package not being delivered correctly was “it’s not in our line of work” referencing that the postman is unwilling to go to the other side of my apartment to drop it off at my door. We live in Manitou and there are apartments here in all types of weird areas and they refuse to work with the customer or follow instructions to deliver the package properly

Won't answer phone until you've called back after back after back. Won't deliver because of neighbors FENCED, I repeat, FENCED dogs, that are super sweet, because he's scared. I've repeatedly told them this, once on the phone & several times in person. I can't control when she lets them out. Meanwhile, I've got sensitive & very expensive plants sitting in their trucks & bills not being received. And the drivers are beyond rude. I've only had 1 good interaction with a driver in 5 years & I've only seen her that 1 time. She was nice & not afraid of the dogs, so they probably fired her. Heaven forbid they have good drivers. And I used to work at a shop in town & they were exactly the same way: lazy & rude. They'll probably read this & mess with my mail even more. But, hey! If you expect nothing, they're awesome. There is 1 man that works the window that's really nice. Other than those 2 people, not 1 good interaction.

Want to give a HUGE shout-out to Michelle!! Recently had a very important/expensive package delivery to California get diverted and somehow get rerouted back to Colorado...Michelle stepped in and contacted the Denver Hub and had the package sent back to it's original destination. All thru the process she left me multiple messages keeping me updated...great job, and thanks again Michelle!

My package was delivered to the wrong place and the post master had to come get it and held it hostage until I said thank you, stay away!

Initially, no one answered the local phone number for the Manitou Post Office, and there was no way to leave a message. Therefore, I couldn't inquire why my postal carrier was simply driving past my address when he had no mail to leave, though I had the flag clearly up on my mailbox indicating mail to be picked up. Is this not still part of their job?Update: After an in-person trip to the post office to talk with the postmaster, not one, but two conversations with the driver who wasn't bothering to pick up my mail (some of which was time-sensitive), and one conversation with an employee who answered the local post office phone and actually seemed to care, I now have a postman on my route who reliably stops for outgoing mail, as carriers are supposed to.

Robert the so called “post master” is the worst! He is smug and useless. One of his subs left my priceless deceased father’s books busted on the street, causing them to be stolen and then refused to do anything about. Because of his complete laziness and incompetence I had to spend hours filing claims and filing a police report (this guy literally told to do it and come get his employee) just to get a stupid refund for shipping. Go elsewhere if you care about anything that the things you are shipping and receiving. We do love our mailman though, but Robert and the sub who did this sadly overshadow that fact.

This place is horribly managed and unprofessional as of the end of 2021. They keep sending other people's mail to my apartment, I've had to go in numerous times and ask then not to do this and they keep guaranteeing me that it's not supposed to be happening, yet it still does

No one rings doorbell, packages left in rain by door, ruined products, do not recommend USPS as a delivery service!!!
