“Very cool setup, has every book you've heard is amazing and a whole collection of books you want to start next. More than books, great and fun art collections as well.”
“No bookstore in Colorado is close in comparison! If they don't have it they will order it. Their prices are fantastic! Just as a library the collection in store is incredible. The absolute best option for gently used kids books. These guys are worth the in person experience!”
“The library and play areas are fantastic. There's a Cafe or ice cream parlor inside as well so you don't necessarily have to pack lunches or snacks. It's definitely a keeper.”
“I have so many amazing things to say about this place. First off, you can't be a free place to take the kids when it's snowing outside. Talk about a great value. They have coffee and hot tea that you can make and take while you explore the interactive kid's areas including a play are with an airplane, slide, and iPads. There are also themed rooms including a Chronicles of Narnia room where you walk through a wardrobe into Narnia. They also have a firefighter room, a soft play area, a theater with dress up clothes and puppets, and even a kid's radio station. There is also a soda shop with snacks and drinks. Then there's the bookstore itself. It's large with its a lot to free including amazing clothes, Horne decor, kid's section, tons of books, and jewelry. The staff was friendly and helpful and we even managed to get a great deal on all the fun things we bought. Highly recommend!”
“Great selection, well organized. Very reasonable prices. The owner is friendly and helpful.A nice extra: They offer really cool handmade bookmarks at the register for $2 each. The bookmarks are creatively made, and are a nice little extra, whether for oneself or as a small gift.”
“It was nice to see a busy Barnes & Noble. We ordered coffees at the café, browsed books, we were helped buy some very helpful employees. Overall, a really positive experience that I haven’t seen in quite a while.”

3940 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs“Wow!!!! ? This is the best Catholic religious items store EVER!!! I could spend hours in there! There are 3 whole rooms of items and books. It’s organized and like items grouped. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in here, it would be a shocker. Store owner was super helpful and friendly. I’m from Oregon and every time I return here this will be a stop for sure!”
“By far my favorite bookstore in all of the springs, here you will find what you’re looking for or even better.. something you are not. Important to support a business such as this. I’m Hooked!Note: make sure and check out the rarities section.”
“I absolutely love this one-of-a-kind wonderful experience at The Living Room! The selection and the layout of all the different house plants available is phenomenal! I loved my experience so much, I followed up with a mother-daughters visit and they now are "hooked", as well! The always friendly and resourceful staff completes all of my visits. Thank you!”
“I purchase my sage and incense from this store. Great place to find very unique treasures. This new location isn’t as convenient as the old, but the quality of their products are worth the travel. Treat yourself to a visit. You will be amazed.”
“Got myself a random sandwich. It was a great time here during the tour. After it was done we decided to get some food from the bookstore. It was a cool day out the staff was pleasant. Ordered a frap for my girlfriend. And after eating we went hiking around the grounds of Glen Eyrie Castle. I wish I lived here such an amazing place to be.”
“Pretty standard college book store. As always some people are helpful and some aren't. It's a roll of the dice. But for the most part everyone here seems to try.”
“This store actually has a bathroom you can use but you do have to buy something. They had nice products and it was clean and smelled nice. There one down side to shopping in Manitou is that most establishments do not let their patrons use the bathroom so you have to go to a bathroom near the parking area and hope that they are clean.”
