Adam was super nice and helpful, based on this experience, I would give them five stars. However, we had two issues where the mail carrier did not deliver our products and had to wait several days for them to locate the packages. Based on the reviews, I think this might be a bigger problem at this location.

I was mailing an important document, and used priority mail and wanted a signature on the other end to make sure that the document made it safely to my daughter. Things got messed up on her end and I had misplaced the receipt showing the tracking number. J (one of the amazing employees at our small Mancos Post Office), was like a professional detective. She spent excessive time with me and we were able to track it down on our end here in CO, figure out where it was in CA, and had a great outcome. I am so grateful for our little post office where people are friends and truly care about their neighbors!!! J definitely went the extra step(s) for me and for our family!

So very tired of having packages that arrived in the morning the day before not being sorted or delivered. When you ask for assistance and offer the tracking number, they say no, then I must do another trip to town. I am not sure whether the poor service or the attitude of one employee is worse. This is unacceptable.

Adam and Ms. Postmaster: Thank you so much for making sure I got my package before I left town. I really appreciate your extra efforts. And your post office is the cleanest I've seen in a long time. What a great service, too, to offer a few hours of service on Saturdays.

They are unable to perform the basic functions that the USPS says they can do. Mail never gets properly delivered to the correct address, boxes are "attempted" to be delivered but really never are. They lie about that. The customer diservice is always surley. They don't close mailboxes after they open them, and packages aren't delivered, they require you pick them up. Basically, they lazy. Do your job. You get gov't funding, you get paid, and you don't do your job.

Inside the post office and delivering packages has been really helpful and friendly.Mail delivery: Unfortunately just saw the mail carrier knock over two of my planters outside breaking one— she put them upright and had to have seen the pot debris. She must have assumed no one saw because most of my blinds were down at the time and I don’t have a Ring doorbell. As soon as I got outside she drove off quickly. Not upset that the planter broke, I can get a new one. But it would’ve been nice if she could’ve stopped and at least knocked on the door or left a note to let me know what happened instead of taking off.

I order dog food online, specifically to save the trip of going to get it. But our mail carrier "doesn't have room in his vehicle" for the package, so we have to drive to Mancos to get it. We live closer to Dolores, work in Cortez, and rarely go to Mancos so we have to make a special trip. Then when I go to the office to pick it up, they give me a dolly and don't even offer to help load it in my vehicle. Also, Our carrier has left packages of ours on the side of the road, hanging out of our mailbox, all where people can easily see and steal them. Lately they've taken to putting them inside the storage cubby of our rv, which granted is out of the weather, but we have to search our property to find where they hid the package. Very frustrated and wish we could have a different office deliver to our address.

They always fail to read my box number and put my mail in a different box. Please just read my box number and my name. I would greatly appreciate not spending all my time trying to figure out who’s box it’s in now.

The new postmaster in this post is a total b. She is argumentative and has a attitude along with the new clerk. These are the typical lazy union workers and hard workers leave because of people like these 2. The USPS need to relieve both of their employment since they have a habit of losing mail.
