I had such a great experience getting some work at Metamorphosis in Lyons! Shelby was extremely detail oriented from our initial consultation, working with me to find the exact size and placement, and checking in on me all throughout the session. I absolutely love my new pieces and can't wait to get back to the shop for some new additions soon!

Ramon was able to squeeze our group of 4 in with our limited time in town, and with limited notice, and we are forever grateful! Wonderful shop with great vibes and lots of fun art and trinkets to look at while we waited. Ramon was experienced and made quick and clean work of our matching tattoos. Lots of great artists here, we hope we can come back for our next CO trip!

I have been getting tattooed here for years by Serina, and I am never going anywhere else! It took me years to find a tattoo shop where I felt respected and cared for and it wasn’t until I found Metamorphosis that I got that. But I also felt truly welcome and part of their community. Every artist at this shop is kind, friendly, professional, and takes the time with you to make sure your tattoo idea looks as good in reality as you imagined it, if not better. It’s a hidden gem and I hope anyone in the Denver area looking for a new shop or artist makes their way to check it out!

I’ve seen Avery and Shelby, and have had many wonderful conversations there with other artists. I found them through the NoCo Tattoo Convention. I love the shop’s maximalist, jewel-tone design aesthetic, and they take their station sanitation really seriously. Great aftercare instructions, my healing periods were all great!

Metamorphosis has absolutely blown me away! The artists working there are casually friendly, making me feel comfortable right away (which is unusual as I'm very introverted). Sarina has done such an amazing job bringing my tattoo idea to life that I can't imagine going to another shop.
All the tools, beds, and artists are clean and well maintained. A great improvement over some other shops I've been to.
I will definitely be coming back here for my next tattoo.

I sent the most basic pumpkin outline to Avery and she created something in her own style which was perfect. She didn’t know how sentimental this tiny tattoo was to me but still treated it with so much care. I’m blown away at the incredible line work. Thank you a million times over.
