I've had the pleasure of dealing with Rocky Woods on just two occasions but both have beeb superlative. I had a weird request so I know for a fact their customer service is top notch, their product offering is extensive and competitively-prices, and the products arrived in a timely manner and neatly organized to boot (which I believe tells you how a company operates).A+ Overall. Can't recommend highly enough.

You pay $8 for expedited shipping for 2-4 day delivery... they process payment 4 business days later and take 1 more days to create a label. Im guessing 4-5 more days for delivery, if at all.

Despite the low rating, I want to start off with a few positives. To their credit, I did receive the package very quickly, within a few business days of my order. Their customer service team was also polite on the surface, if vaguely accusatory and not very willing to help.I cannot speak to their in-person customer service, but I would not recommend purchasing from this store online. I ordered ~$30 (plus shipping) of assorted materials from them, including nylon, zippers, etc. for part of a Halloween costume. I instead received four spools of Hobbii rainbow lace. I am not sure how I came to receive the lace - I checked their website and couldn't find this lace, and their customer service team assured me multiple times that they do not sell lace. From what I could tell, the package was fully sealed when I opened it.I reached out to the customer service team to see what could be done about it. The answer was, essentially, nothing. They reiterated that they do not sell lace, they do not know how I came to get lace, and if anything it was a post office error and I need to follow up with them instead. They sent me some stills of my purchased items in a shipping fulfillment center as proof that it was shipped (though notably, no evidence of those items making it into a box nor any evidence that such a box would have made it to me).After a lot of back and forth, I was able to get them to at least open a claim with the post office. At this point, after more unnecessary pushing, they gave me a two options: send them the lace back, at my own cost, and after they received it they would deign to ship me the items I purchased (at which point they would arrive too late and be useless to me), or wait for the post office claim to finalize for a chance at a refund (but only if the post office found in their favor. If the claim was denied, they let me know they would be unwilling to help me further).I'm ready to believe that it was an error made at the post office. Maybe, as they hypothesized, some packages got opened during transit and the contents were swapped and resealed. But at the end of the day, I ended up paying for products that I did not receive and I feel like the onus is entirely on the seller to fix the issue, at their cost, even if they later need to follow up with the post office for their own recompense. I've never heard of a company essentially shrugging their shoulders at a customer as Rockywoods has done to me.If you do order online from them, I would recommend filming yourself opening the package just in case you receive the wrong items. They will be disinclined to help you otherwise.Edit after owner response - I could address their other comments, but I have made my case about how their offered resolutions were less than satisfactory and I don't want this to turn into another back-and-forth. The one part I do want to address is the part that most calls my integrity into question, which is that I declined to return the package to the post office. This is incorrect and another assumption by Rockywoods about how the package was handled. In actuality, I returned the package to the post office on October 25th. They can follow up with the post office for verification if they have not already received that update.

4 Years ago, I left a bad review after I received horrible service from an ex employee. 4 years later, I am happy to report that I am an extremely happy customer. Rockywoods has not disappointed me since and I order A LOT of fabric from them. THANK YOU so much for your quick turnaround, great customer service (Dustin) and providing hard to find colors that my customers constantly ask me for!

I went to the store to get some material, but they were closed. I am handicapped and use a cane. I went back to my car to go home. This nice man seen me and came out to see what I needed. I told him and he brought out 3 samples. I choose one and he went back in to complete the sale. He brought it back to my car. I am a long time customer and have always been treated well, but this time was extra special. I do recommend Rockywoods Fabrics. They have sporting and outdoor fabrics and supplies. ? Thanks alot.
