Closed my account so I couldn’t make payments and when I went in person to pay the cash they didn’t honor the cash and sent the repo man and when I called about it they didn’t listen to what I was saying and hung up. The Loveland and Denver branches have been the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life.

I haven’t been a fan of Canvas CU since I opened my account and credit card several years ago. Customer communication is poor and I feel like they don’t care about their members. I’ve been banking elsewhere for a while. I would’ve closed the accounts but I kept it open because I didn’t want to hurt my credit score by closing a credit account.I got a letter in the mail that my credit account has been closed, and the letter doesn’t even say WHY, just that the account is closed. I tried logging into the app and it wasn’t showing any of my accounts anymore.Called customer service and the agent said my accounts were closed due to 2 years of inactivity. I’ve done plenty of banking in my life and never had any account closed due to inactivity. I asked the rep if they normally just close accounts without telling people. She said I should’ve gotten letters, but I never received any communication from them (surprise). she told me I could go to a branch and reopen my accounts if I wanted to. Why would I reopen an account I haven’t used in years, especially if they just close accounts with no notice? I told her I know it wasn’t ~her~ fault personally but that I will absolutely never bank with them again.Checked my credit score and it was slightly dinged due to 1) having an account closed, and 2) now having a higher % of credit usage since the account was closed. Definitely do not recommend this credit union to anyone!

I have been a member for almost 10 years. When this was still Public Service Credit Union, they were awesome. Now!!!! The worst. Excessive fees! Do not recommend.

I've never felt so uncomfortable and nervous in a bank. suggestion: talk amongst each other instead of creepily looking at me like i'm a repeat felon rather than somebody that served in afghanistan. Blonde girl and bearded guy with eyeglasses - you were the ones making me feel nervous and creeped out. it doesn't matter at all how you felt - it matters how the customer felt(vs how i felt right when i stepped inside). maybe you should talk to your manager about that. ill just count on myself using the drivethru teller. it really shouldn't be that way though. plus, is there not an after hours ATM? or do you lock that area up after hours?

Really disappointed in my credit union. Been a member for a while , tried to fill out a application for first time homebuyers for 100% financing like the web site says but turns out they don’t do 100% financing so they are false advertising on there website and there employees are aware of this . There disclosures do not tell you that they require a downpayment on there 100% financing witch included downpayment. It’s all false

Very rare I leave a post. There auto loan department Is very unprofessional. They tell me there going to call and email me certain criteria, but never follow through. Communication is horrible. Don't waste your time, I heard Weld Community Credit Union is better if you your looking.

Canvas has done nothing but elavate me and give me free money! I originally got a car loan threw them a few years ago and switched from chase. Best financial decision i ever made. They never charged me bu!!sh!t fees, and taxes. At Chase I earned less than 5$ In intrest on my savings, at Canvas I earned over 100$ in my 1st year. And the credit card has earned me over 400$ In reward points. The car loan is paid off now and the hole process was painless! Highly recommended.

Froze my card due to suspicious activity- that activity being an 160$ withdrawal from an atm. Oooo so suspicious. This made me have to be an hour and a half late to work cause had to wait for them to open cause I couldn't drop my kid off at daycare cause I couldn't access my money to pay for it. And it says they open at 8:30 on google but it's 8:40 and they're still not open

It is a rare occasion for me to to leave a review. And even more rare to leave a negative one.I have been a canvas customer since they were public service way back in 2013 I have never had a bad experience that I felt I had to share until today. First, it took close to ten minutes to get a response after sending my withdrawal request through the drive through tube. The little blonde girl working at the drive-thru was pretty curt and expedited customers that had arrived after me before me even though I only asked for two rolls of quarters. She proceeded to then tell me that nobody there had access to the vault for change and that I had to come back in 30 to 40 minutes. I don't know about these people, but it's not always an option to "come back in 30" when you live across town and already took the time to schedule this visit around your personal life.It seems pretty counter intuitive to run a bank with employees that don't have access to a bank vault. I only wanted to do laundry today lolI don't know. I think its more about the principle that this is my money you have in that vault and I should be able to access it at any time during normal business hours. I was already considering leaving this branch after the last visit where it took close to 35mins in line with only 3 people in line and each one was already with a teller. I think now may be the time to commit to switching to a new CU.

Canvas is a great credit union except for rude employees. Over all have had a good experience with this branch but had a very rude employ in late July. At first she would not let me put money in my account as I did not have "a government id" although I had an airport security id which is FAA regulated. She was also very snappy and for some reason seemed to hate me. As I was walking the other teller pulled me to her side and I was able to put money in my account no issue. Over all decent Branch but has some rude employees.

I came to this location because I needed rolls of quarters to do my laundry. My banking institution (not Canvas) was short on quarters due to the coin shortage so they were not able to give me any $10 rolls. They recommended canvas, so I came here to make some change, Not having an account.I know that every banking institution is different, but I used to be a teller myself at one point. Anybody could come in and make change if they needed to do so. I waited for 20 minutes and sent the tube back-and-forth three times before someone could tell me that they were not able to make change for me unless I had an account there.I considered opening an account at canvas, but after my interaction here I will never open an account at Canvas credit union solely by the way I was treated, talked down to and how long I had to wait for the most simple of any banking transaction. You want to have control of my hard earned money and also want to treat me like that? Absolutely not.
