Never got call back in emergency situation.that is not a true statement. I needed to have surgery on the 13th was calling to see if I could leave my dog for 2 nights the 13th &14th. The fact you have never bothered to contact me personally is quite telling on how you treat your prospective clients. So in the future I'll e calling some else.

I took my dog to Happy Trails for a half day of daycare. I dropped him off at 10 AM and told the front desk staff I would pick him up at 2:00. I was dismayed to learn the daycare dogs are placed in kennels from noon to 2:00 daily. So he played for two hours and I picked him up at noon rather then subject him to two hours in a kennel! Not my idea of fun nor his!

Once I moved to Johnstown, I had ask around for groomers and Happy Trails Pet Spa and Resort was recommended. My husband and I of course went and checked it out and the place looked great and clean. Staff was very friendly. So, we started taking our silky terrior there for grooming at least every 4 to 5 weeks between grooming. We went on a trip to where our dog was there for 9 days. I took in things for my dog; little bed, mat, prepared food, tooth brush and brush for combing, a few toys, and of course his extendable leash with poop bag holder. EVERYTHING was labeled with name. I also ask for some extra care from them like brush his teeth Mon, Wed, and Fri, and wiping of his eyes which they did. We were able to view him on camera as well, which was great. We had asked on the day we were picking up to have him groomed. The day before we were on our way back home, we got a call stating that the groomer was out sick, I ask if they could at least shampoo him, and I can always bring him back when the groomer was back. No problem. When my husband and I picked him up, they brought him out somewhat wet, which has never happened before. They brought out his belongings and my husband took them out with our dog as I took care of the bill which came to $842.95. I paid it and went out to our truck to go through our bag to make sure everything was there. The funny thing is when they brought our dog out, they had him on a different leash that was not ours. So when I look through everything, I noticed that our extendable leash and poop bag holder was missing. I went back inside and told them it was missing, Several staff members were trying to look for it. Well, they didnt find it. So, the staff stated they would try and find out what happened. a few days later I recieved a call from a staff member by the name of Jade (very nice and respectful young lady) had stated that the leash had accidentally been given to another customer. I told her that I know mistakes happen and it's all in how the mistakes are dealt with. I ended up speaking with Kennie (not sure on her spelling of her name) who I believe is the manager, but not sure. Kennie told me that with the contract that I signed, that Happy Trails is NOT responsible for lost or damaged items. OK, then Kennie then stated to me Jade wanted to know how much the cost of the leash and poop bag were so she can reimburse me. Through many other conversations, I didn't expect Jade to pay me back out of her own pocket. So, today I called to see if they would be willing to do a grooming instead of giving me the money back and i retrieved a reciept for the leash. I spoke with Kennie Again and mind you each time, to me she literally acted like she didn't care about what happened and told me that they cannot do a grooming in the place of the leash and that they are not responsible for lost or damaged items. I told her that nothing was lost or damaged; that my leash and poop bag were accidently given to another person and how could they be this way Knowing the amount of money we had just spent there. It is your call on whether you take your pets here. I'm APPAULED in how Kennie took care of this situation. They lost a VALUABLE customer!!!!

My three golden retrievers love going to Happy Trails! They are always so excited when we arrive and don't even look back at me when they go to their kennels. The staff is the BEST! They love on my fur-babies and really seem to love what they do. I appreciate the cameras they have so I can see how my babies are doing. It really gives me piece of mind, especially when I have to leave them for extended stays. I have been a customer of Happy Trails for years and can't imagine bringing my precious fur balls anywhere else!

Keny & the team at Happy Trails always make sure my pets are well cared for when we're away on vacations, with daycare and extra enrichments our dogs Buddy and Taco are kept busy and I swear they don't even know we left! We love having a pet place we can trust finally!

The staff at Happy Trails pays attention to my dog Stella! She is happy to be dropped off and is doing what she likes best when I watch her on the cameras when I pick her up. They pay attention to details and safety!

we absolutely love Happy Trails doggy daycare! They always great us and our dog Sarah right when we walk and you can tell that all the staff genuinely love dogs. Sarah is always happy to get to spend the day there with playing with her friends. So glad we found this place!!!!

LOOK NO FURTHER!! Happy Trails Pet Spa is fantastic. My dog started going there when I relocated to the area, there was much hesitation on both our behalf. The staff is beyond kind, helpful,experienced. My dog is always excited to go visit. Happy Trails offers several options to fine tune your pet's experience.. You can have as much, or as little pampering as you need. Olivia is my "go to animal advice" person! She is professional, an excellent communicator, and very friendly.

Do not board your dog here! Boarded three dogs for a funeral in Illinois, was quoted wrong pricing by the front end staff who the manager later admitted was in "in training". Had brother and pick dogs up, was charged $1500.00 for boarding three dogs for 6 days! Manager admitted some charges were wrong, but never refunded me. Later lied about what time they were picked up, (I have photo proof of pickupt time) what care they were provided etc. Charged EXTRA to not let the dogs socialize with other dogs (less work for staff), all sorts of gotchas! All three dogs ended up sick after boarding here. Even after admitting staff was in training and likely quoted wrong they would not adjust pricing or refund. Will be involving attorney and BBB!

All three dogs ended up sick after boarding here. Even after admitting staff was in training and likely quoted wrong they would not adjust pricing or refund. They convienently could not find the recorded call of the discussed amount. When I audited there pricing it would have been cheaper to get each dog their own kennel, but instead I paid more for less. How can boarding three dogs in the same kennel be more than boarding three different dogs in three different kennels? They dont have my signature for the Credit Card, they admitted they charged me wrong and they still refuse to make it right. Do not trust Happy Trails with your dogs or your money. Will be involving attorney and BBB!

We had our 9 month old pup stay here for a few days and seemed to have a great time. Everyone In the office and that worked there was so wonderful. Definitely will let him stay here again. Thank you.
