First tech has about the worst customer service I've ever experienced from a bank or credit union. Will be getting away from them at my earliest convenience. They have dropped my credit by 120 points over a mistake due to their confusing paperwork. Never sent a late payment, and they are not willing to reverse marks with the credit bureau even with a physical paper trail on their end showing payments made on time.

Customs service has gone down hill. I get that it is Saturday and you want to go home but your customers that arrive before 1 when you close you should help not look at them dumbfounded that you locked the door before your posted closing time. Wish Christian was there he is always helpful and amazing to work with

I have never ever complained about this institution. I have never had a bad experience and consistently leave good reviews. I went into the Loveland branch the other day and tried to see if I could get my name on my account updated to my new married name and I was refused service because I didn't have my new ID yet. I did have 2 other forms to provide in the form of my new SSC and my marriage license but still was turned away. I was so frustrated. I have been with this place since the 90s and I have never felt so disregarded by the staff. The women giving this information to the greeting teller didn't even bother to look up from her desk when she gave the answers. It was all bizarre. I also confirmed them closing their doors for this location. I miss Addison Avenue and I thought First Tech was going to be a better future for the credit union. I will be moving financial intuitions and I miss what this one was. Thank you to the helpful staff that has helped me and my family for many many years.

I've never had any issues with first tech. The app is super easy to use and every time I go in store to have something done the employees are amazing. My only complaint is that when I lived in southern Colorado near Colorado Springs, the closest store was more than 2 hours away in Denver. It's definitely not as accessible as some bigger banks, but that's to be expected of a credit union. Overall would definitely recommend.

Update: First Tech is NO HELP AND CANT GIVE US A REASON ON HOW WE GOT CHARGED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AFTER PAYING OFF A LOAN. Paid off a loan early.. 2 years go by without a call or emails and then suddenly we have debt collections contacting us saying that we owe THOUSANDS of dollars to First Tech.. called the credit union and they told us there was a fee for paying it off early. No one let us know and now that fee has turned into thousands of dollars that they sent to collections even though First Tech didn’t call us to let us know about a fee in 2 WHOLE YEARS. We called First Tech and they told us it isn’t their job to let us know about a fee for paying off a loan early. This is THOUSANDS of dollars we’re talking about.. all for paying a loan off earlier than it was supposed to be. Fml

Very rude and inconsiderate. Bad vibes in the bank and made our experience very unpleasant. Hopefully these people can gain a better mindset and are able to bring a more positive experience to their customers.

First Tech has been spiraling down in quality for the past few years. First they ruined the intuitive Bill Pay interface, then they somehow broke transferring funds from one First Tech Member to another (even within family members!), and now I can't even modify my monthly mortgage payment! That has to be done "in the background" with no visible view of the transaction (or control) until it has happened. Now they just sent me a new Debit card (not requested) with a new card number, with my name on it, but linked to my son's account. Whoever runs their IT should be fired.

I have been with First Tech/HP credit Union/Addison Avenue since shortly after it was started. HP credit Union was great, very few problems. Addison Avenue was great and had a setup that would text me immediately as soon as they got the verification that I had used my credit card to purchase something from a merchant. Many times while I was still at the check out line. This was great especially when someone used my card to purchased over $100 at a gas station in Texas and I was in Colorado. I was able to call the CU and they put a stop on my card.Jump to First Tech. They also have a verification software that notifies me sometimes the same day but not usually. I started a couple of years ago complaining that it needs to be in a more timely manner. WE ARE SORRY TO HEAR YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED AND EE ARE WORKING ON IT. I got this for a couple of years until I just figured they were NEVER going to do anything about it.Now they are sending me texts that I had spent money SOMEWHERE To the amount of OVER$1.00.Over $1.00 to someone sometime? They are WORKING on it. Of course they are.

They suck. Not a good bank don't use them. They suck. Their staff are ignorant and mean. Charges don't show in the app and then put you under zero. Weak app. They fail at what they do. Don't use this bank.

I love First Tech! I’ve been a member for over ten years and they’ve always been great. Their customer service is great, opening or changing accounts is very easy, and overall I couldn’t be more pleased! I do prefer this location over the Fort Collins one

Their mobile banking options serve all my needs with no problems! The website is so much better than the last two banks I've had, Bill pay is a breeze, and I use their app every day between my Business and Personal needs. The only issue I have is you actually have to go into the branch to change your debit card pin number. With no self service option online or 24-hour number to call I'm a little nervous what might happen if I got locked out and needed cash after hours. I haven't had much need to actually go to this branch, but when I do the staff is super friendly and make me feel valued as a patron.

We mostly use First Tech for an HSA checking account, as they have no fees for this, and actually pay non-zero interest. I've always found the folks there to be very nice and helpful, as we have also found them the goto place for free notary service. If you can use their services, go for it. They really are great people.

Are go to a bank institution for the past 17 years. Enjoy the knowledgeable team of colors and bankers. Love the locations and enjoy extended Saturday hours. Always easy experience to deposit or withdraw funds. The team always eager to answer questions whether about opening account or drawing a new loan. Highly recommend to anyone in the area to Joint First Tech Credit Union.
