Hmmm.... I get to post a review that is DEFINITELY in the minority.Chris Larkins is a responsive insurance agent. However, Farmers Insurance coverage is horribly overpriced. I track my insurance payments and have seen my homeowner's and auto policies increase more than 100% in the past 5 years. My most recent auto policy increased 33% in 6 months! I called and spoke with another Chris (last name escaped me). His "justification" was that rates are increasing everywhere and inflation is bad. I understand those 2 points; however, a 33% percent increase cannot be justified by those 2 points. I asked for further clarity or justification and he became extremely belligerent.I just got off another call with Chris (last name unknown) in which I requested all details of my insurance coverage be sent to me. He replied that he would "get it to me ASAP" via e-mail. I said that was kind of nebulous and requested a date in which I could expect to receive it. He became incredibly defensive and openly accused me of being condescending. My wife was listening to the call and she was highly offended by his responses.I would highly recommend that any potential new customer make sure that they interact with Chris LARKIN. He will at least ensure that you have a pleasant interaction.

Chris and his staff have been my provider for many years; they are knowledgeable and low pressure. Chris provides a terrific service and never encourages you to take on more insurance than you need. He is there for you when life sends you unexpectedness and is a calm presence in the midst of what can be chaotic. I would highly recommend both Chris Larkins and Farmers Insurance!

We own a farm with outbuildings, autos, equipment. So we have complicated insurance needs. Chris Larkins was very thorough to research options, coverage limits, and special riders. He was patient in answering our question. He also reviews our policies regularly to ensure available discounts taken and all information is current.

Chris seems to care about my insurance needs. I've been with Farmers for over 50 years but I am thinking of changing as my rates keep keep going up. I can understand this somewhat with all the disasters that keep occurring in this world. But maybe I can get better rates somewhere else.

We switched our business insurance over to Farmers about a year ago. Best decision we made. He was able to save us money and offer more coverage than we were getting. I also like the piece of mind I can call a local number if I have a question instead of waiting on hold with a 1-800 number and speaking with someone I’ve never met. We hope to grow our restaurants to include many many more locations and plan on having Chris and his team cover us the entire journey.
