“My husband and I helped our 4-year-old granddaughter pick out helium birthday balloons at the Dollar Tree for her other grandmother. When we got outside, we had trouble getting the balloons in the car due to the wind, and the one that actually said "Happy Birthday" on it escaped, and was gone in seconds! Two stores employees were taking a break outside, and as I was on my way back in to buy a replacement, they brought out the same exact balloon and gave it to us! I offered to pay them, and they said, "It happens," explaining they had also replaced a graduation balloon earlier that morning for free. I know it's not a lot of money, but it's the thought that really counts! My granddaughter learned a good lesson about being kind and helping others, and my husband and I were reminded that a small gesture can make a big difference! Thank you, ladies!!!”
