We are always happy with how the vets and their staff take care of our dog. Maia is so special to us and they treat her with so much kindness and professionalism when we bring her in for her appointments.
We wouldn’t think of taking her anywhere else.

If I could give negative stars I would. If you want your animal to live a full life avoid run sprit away as fast as you can from this place before it’s to late!! If I could save another animals life. No animal deserved this. Some keys facts every animal owner should know before coming here. Make sure that all off the things you paid for such as vaccines medication heart worm you have documentation on it as they never documented anything correctly I had to go back over bills and try to read dr hand writing to find correct vaccines this was in the beginning. Next if the drs are out on vacation which all should have time to do. They hire an outside contractor and at that time your pet now becomes this contractors until the drs. Come back even though you have never met this so called dr and your pet was brought to BTAH under BTAH care. Next if your animal has a urinary symptoms I WARN you if you want your animal to live avoid them at all cost! My dog (an American bully 3 years old) had 3 utis ( different times in his life) and each time not once was a urine culture done to see if he was on the right antibiotics and instead they neutered him saying that’s all that there is left to do. When he was neutered it made things so much worse he couldn’t urinate at all. This dr told me after that, all that’s left is a sex change ( different medical terms) but non the less sex change so his urethra goes outside his body instead of inside… WHAT…. so with out 20k to do a sex change he was ultimately put down. Drum roll please autopsy showed a UTI (cystitis)!

I have been going here 20 years. Just lost my 3rd dog in that time using this vet. The first 2 I got their ashes back. This time apparently they will not give my 3rd and final generation back. They apparently don't have his ashes don't care They don't have his ashes and don't care if they lose future business. Instead they said the lady who brought him in was drunk and on drugs. I saw her immediately before as I loaded the dog. And within an hour of leaving the house. The clinic swore my dog had a different name then the one he had for the last 9 1/2 years... I would not recommend them anymore.

I take my dog to Big Thompson Animal Hospital, and I'm very happy with their services. They are very kind to my Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix, and have good treats! Mostly he's there for vaccines, etc; but when he needed an emergency appt they got him in quick! I respect this office a lot, and I'm glad we found them.

Dr. Mickey Wiltz, and all the Doctors, Techs & Staff are Wonderful. They are All Caring , Friendly and Compassionate with All of the Animals they see!

The staff and vets are very trustworthy, caring, and professional. I have been going here for over 10 years and they have saved our animals on multiple occasions. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
