“Great little outdoor venue. Great sound good lighting. The shows are free. Lots of food options. Sometimes a little crowded, but it's all nice people out for a stroll. I wish they had more. The production quality increases every year.. Better speakers, more power, etc. The lineup changes regularly but the bands are consistently excellent.”

“This place was such a great find for my daughter's 5th birthday party. All the kiddos had a blast (and a lot of the parents also)! This place had parents asking me how I found this place and some kiddos asking their parents if they could have their birthday party there also. The best part is I am pretty sure most of the kids had a great naptime afterwards. I also love that there is no restriction on outside food that you can bring, and they have a fridge to keep things cool while the kids play and do warrior challenges. Coach Logan is so awesome with kids and tailors the challenges to the age group. I would highly recommend this place for parties for kid and adults. Thanks Amanda and Logan!”

“We have held several community meetings in the event space at the Confluence Small Business Collective in Lafayette, and the experience each time has been exceptional. Tom and Kira are wonderful to work with-fast communicators, and extremely helpful. Their online booking is straightforward and easy to use. The information they send out ahead of time as well as the easy to follow onsite instructions about how to use the projector/connect to wifi etc make holding the events a breeze and reduces a lot of the unknowns and worries when booking event spaces like remembering to ask for wifi or instructions ahead of time-they have it built into their entire process. This location will continue to top our list as the best place to hold meetings! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to hold an event in Lafayette!”

“Super fun birthday experience for a 17 year old and her friends! Ed went above and beyond instructing, making the bday girl feel special, telling bad jokes and just making everything super easy. “We enjoyed our evening at Nissi's completely! The service for food and drinks was very good. Our table ordered a burger, red trout, salmon, and wedge salad with grilled chicken. It was very tasty!! I'd recommend the red sangria, as well. All the staff were very friendly. The highlight was the concert by FACE vocal band. Incredibly good entertainment! They are regulars at Nissi's - so check the schedule & treat yourself!”

“We held our Welcome Party at The Studio Friday night before our son's wedding. 5 stars for Rebecca and the team at The Studio. We (and our guest) loved the space. While it is industrial space it was cozy and just the right size for our group of ~120. We live in Seattle so planning an event remotely can be challenging, but Rebecca made it very easy for us with her excellent communication and great recommendations for party rentals and bartenders. Day of the event we were able to gain access to the space with plenty of time to set up and be prepared for our guest. We had a Studio staff member on site during our event for any support we needed - she was great! Plenty of parking for guest and a quick Uber (10 min from our hotel). I highly recommend The Studio for an event. We would definitely consider it for another party.”

“Not sure why it posted one star. Probably didn’t have my glasses on. Sorry about that. The Avalon is a 5 star! It has solar panels covering the parking area, so it was nicely shaded, plus they have plenty of EV chargers. It was the perfect location for our electric vehicle showcase.”

“It was a magical place, from the entrance with the bees and spiders and scorpions, and Rosie(:D), to being able to touch some sea stars and horseshoe crabs, and knowing that they've got a safe space to get inside if they get overwhelmed is amazingly considerate. Then on to the Wings of the Tropics. It was GORGEOUS. Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe it, words barely hold any meaning for this place. It truly feels otherworldly, and I had the pleasure of taking someone there for their very first time! I think everyone should go at least once just get an experience out of it, and the gift shop has you really engaged with items ranging from plushies for the younger kids, to Legos, to some framed beauties that you can display around your house. Will definitely be going again soon. Oh, and the best part? Even in the middle of December, the 22nd is when I visited, it's still nice and warm and safe for all their creatures. “We hosted our “western” themed holiday party at the Church Ranch Event Center in Westminster! The venue was absolutely perfect for this themed party! We had mechanical bull riding, calf roping, shooting video game, DJ, and line dancing, as well as some other activities. Everyone had a great time and loved the atmosphere of the venue. We had a catered buffet cowboy style buffet by Deshebrado, and the Smore add on package was a huge hit with the guests!Working with Brandon, Eric, Kim and their staff was easy, and they are a real pleasure to work with! The venue makes a perfect setting for a country style wedding; however, you should consider having your corporate events there. It is a spacious venue with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Simply beautiful! You will have an event to remember!”

“If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The entire staff was incredible from start to finish. Everyone was kind, generous and so accommodating. In true Colorado fashion, the weather became questionable beginning 2 days before my wedding, but Madie was quick to jump on a backup plan right away. I really wanted my ceremony to be on the terrace, but the snow was just too heavy to make happen. However, everyone still put in the extra effort to help me get the pictures I had dreamed of. They were also so flexible with the amount of guests I had on the actual day (I gave my final count 10 days before but had so many last minute changes). They took on the chaos of over 30 kids with grace and kindness, and made sure they were all fed and happy. And speaking of food, I had so many guests tell me how incredible the food was! We did a tasting with the chef ahead of time and he was incredible. So kind, generous and extremely talented. And the catering coordinator, Sarah exceeded all of our expectations during the entire planning process. The only thing that I would have changed were the signs/directions for my guest leading them to the new location. Everyone eventually made it, but the last minute change was a bit confusing for everyone. I could write a whole novel about how incredible they all made my day! As a CU Alum and a Boulder native, I always dreamed of having my wedding there. My dream came true and the staff made it even more incredible than I could have ever imagined! “Purpose & Length of stay: youth hockey games; 4 nightsPositives: Location was awesome. We were 4 min away from the rink and other places like Target and Dave & Busters. Breakfast was pretty good and well stocked. We had fresh scrambled eggs each morning. Hotel was clean and the lobby was nice and roomy. The games in the lobby were a nice addition as well as the ice scrapers (I forgot mine and of course it snowed). Bed was comfy. We had a mini fridge and microwave. I prefer smaller hotels when traveling for tournaments so we're not waiting for the elevators too long. My kid enjoyed the pool and the gym looked nice. We had pleasant interactions with the desk, bar, and cleaning staff.Negatives: The walls were a bit thin but luckily our neighbors were respectful and the noise died down after a certain time. There was some highway noise as this location backs into the highway and there's no wall separating it from the highway. The walls and picture in the bathroom could use a cleaning (shower, toilet, and sink were clean). The door stopper on the wall kept falling off. I agree with previous reviews about the bathroom door. It would be ideal to have a lighter solid door so the light isn't bothering people sleeping. Also, the shower has this metal part right underneath the shower head. Once turned off, it gets a bit noisy with the water dripping, another thing that might interrupt the sleep of others.Overall, we had a nice stay over Thanksgiving here. I would stay here again.”

“2nd time staying here while visiting CU Boulder. Very easy to get to Univ and Pearl St. Front desk staff is very friendly- I would especially like to mention Nick who is the first Marriott employee to actually grant me an upgrade based on my loyalty status in years!! He was super accommodating. All staff were very friendly. Mentioned that downstairs shower in 2 bedroom suite needed to be fixed at breakfast and it was taken care of when I got back that afternoon. Pretty crowded breakfast room Sunday morning after football game but breakfast was still well supplied and they even put out bacon unlike so many places that won’t serve it when crowds are bigger. Ladies in breakfast room were doing a great job. I will definitely stay here again!”

“This hotel looks nice from the outside. The rooms are fairly nice. But I was woken up at 4:30 AM by the alarm that was going off next door. Obviously I couldn’t really do anything about it but after ten minutes of it going off I decided that I needed to do something, especially because I had two long flights the next day. I called them three times and no one answered. The message at the end of the phone call was a number to call customer services and when I called it didn’t work. The alarm kept going and I was getting overwhelmed by the sound. I tried to block it out and was unable so I went downstairs to try to get some help. No one was at the desk and there was a sign saying to call a number for assistance, which I did one more time. It was the number I had been calling and I heard the phone ring and no one answered it. I didn’t know what to do because I couldn’t sleep through the noise. I tried calling again and finally someone answered (that was the sixth call I had made). He was fairly rude and after I had told him I had called six times, he said that he only had two missed calls which just isn’t true. I asked if he would please turn it off and he had to call the room first and by the time the alarm was off it had been a full hour after it started. He also questioned me on why I wasn’t calling from the hotel phone and I told him I didn’t want to wake the other people in the room and he doubted that I was actually staying here and said that it could just be a prank call. I felt very uncomfortable and unheard by him. It took him awhile to come up and actually turn it off as well. I believe that he was the only one that was working that night, but they should not treat their guests this way. They do not reset their alarm clocks after a guest has stayed there and I lost an hour of sleep because of it.”

“New Era Wrestling was the best thing this venue had. Sad to see the Castle not keep wrestling in the area for longer than they did. Crowds were super big for independent wrestling!”

“Went bowling for New Years and had a great time. The staff were amazing and so welcoming and kind. The buffet was so good and a large variety and the soda was endless. It was a group of younger people and were so polite and friendly. I definitely recommend this place to those who are looking for party ideas. The place was clean as were the bathrooms and that is always a plus.”

“My friend and I went here on Valentine's Day for our UnValentines date. We don't celebrate, we like to dress up and go eat. Our server Alex was an absolute delight. She was patient, friendly, and sweeter than the Panna Cotta that night. The food was just as incredible. I had the buffalo lasagna, and my buddy had the Duck and gnocchis! Both are just to die for. He cleaned his plate, but I had to take some of my lasagna home, and it was still delicious reheated later!!I really loved their take on an antipasto! The only suggestion I have would be a little image with the antipasto telling you what each item is. 10/10 will be back.Great for a date, a family get together, friends, whatever. Definitely get a reservation!!”

“Great southwestern cuisine that had some kick to it. They're known for their fry bread tacos and those at the table who had it were extremely happy with it. I had the stuffed peppers and it was filling, full of flavor and had a good amount of heat to it. The ambience was nice and the wait staff was very attentive. It was conveniently connected to the hotel which was nice for our guests visiting from out of town.”
