Justen was such a delight. He recommended things to upgrade in the house. He let us know which items would give us a 100% or more return on upgrading them. Having staging was such a bonus, it made the house look amazing. If you are looking for a house to buy/sell in Superior, he is the expert in the area. He is a great negotiator and will go to bat for you.

Justen and his team deserve a 10-star review. My wife and I embarked on our 1st home purchase journey on 16 December 2023. As is probably often the case, we had some unrealistic expectations and lacked the knowledge necessary at the time. We started with Redfin, as many people do, and had hoped to be under contract by the end of the month. Although Redfin was available to send associates to do showings at the drop of a hat, we quickly realized that they often sent inexperienced people who mainly just had access to the keys and not much else. About a week in we realized we had a lot more questions than answers and we reached out to a friend who had purchased his house in 2022. He said that he had used Justen’s services in his journey and recommended we do the same. I texted Justen and within 10 minutes he got back to me to ask when a good time would be to talk. I was available and he called me right then. We spoke for a bit, and he answered so many of our questions in that call that I was already confident that we would retain his services. My wife and I met with him a few days later and he continued to exceed our expectations. He showed us 4 properties and we found a single-family home that we loved that same day. We had already seen at least a dozen houses through redfin at that point, but without the guidance of an experienced agent we had not found anything we wanted. Justen prepared the contract on the house the same day and we were off! As we learned, things don’t always work out so easily and, as it turned out, we were not meant to buy that home. Without missing a beat Justen helped us terminate the contract and we went back to the drawing board. He made the shopping quite easy for us by scheduling the walkthroughs back-to-back and we found a condo we thought would work for us. He informed us of possible unique issues with financing Condos before he wrote the contract. He is extremely knowledgeable and a true expert in his craft. We spent 3 weeks packing and preparing for our move before we found out from our lender that due to insurance coverage for the HOA the Condo was unwarrantable, this was one of the possibilities of which Justen had prepared us. Long story short we were back to the drawing board again and very demoralized and exhausted. Justen went above and beyond and was there for us through all of these disappointments for counseling and support. None of these issues we were having were in any way under his control and his patience and guidance never faltered. My wife and I were really starting to believe that this journey was not going to find a positive end. We had already seen most of the inventory in the areas and price range we were looking at, so we expanded our search slightly and were pleased to find 5 more properties that may suit us. We went out that day with diminished expectations to view them. As luck would have it, we did see one townhome that had nearly all of the things we had been looking for when we started our journey and became cautiously optimistic once again. Justen reached out to the sellers’ realtor to help avoid some of the pitfalls we had already fallen into this year, and got back to us with clear honest communication regarding the pros and cons. We decided to move forward and are now living in our new home. We got new blinds this week that we purchased with a concession that Justen negotiated for us and are so pleased and excited that we found this home. All of this is thanks to Justen and all of his help and support. We would not be here without him, and you will be lucky to have him as your realtor.

Been more and more frustrated with the amount of trash that ends up in our yard after each new flyer gets sent out. This time we had six total flyers scattered in the snow in our yard. You can see flyers 4, 5, and 6 in the image.

Justen and the whole Staufer team was amazing to work with I’m selling our home. We had a very unique situation and he handled it with such expertise and professionalism. I would say he went over and beyond to help the transaction go smoothly as it possibly could. I would highly recommend him and his team!

I would highly recommend Justen Staufer as a real estate agent!When my husband and I moved to Colorado at the end of 2020 because of a new job, we didn’t really know anyone and we weren’t very familiar with the area. After two years of renting, we decided it was time to buy our first house. After hearing horror stories of bidding wars in 2021 and 2022, we knew getting a knowledgeable real estate agent was extremely important in this market. We interviewed four real estate agents from different companies that were all great, but ultimately decided to work with Justen.Why Justen? You can tell from just talking to Justen that he is not only extremely passionate about real estate but he really cares about sharing his knowledge and expertise with you. He was not trying to sell us the first house we showed any interest in. He walked us around the houses showing us what inspectors might point out as potential problems so we wouldn’t be surprised during inspections. He also knew a lot of specifics about the neighborhoods so he was able to point out the benefits of that specific area that many people often miss. He truly made sure we were aware of all the positives and negatives of the property so that we could make a very informed decision on whether or not we wanted to make an offer.After we decided on a house, Justen walked us through different ways to make our offer more competitive in this market. Many of our friends who bought houses were told to just bid more, but Justen walked us through a variety of ways that we could make our offer more competitive without throwing thousands of dollars at the sellers. We actually ended up getting the first house we put an offer in on because Justen was so prepared and we were able to quickly make an offer.Even after we made the purchase, Justen has continued to help us. When property taxes went up, Justen was the first one to contact us to make sure we were aware of the appeal process and he even helped us with the paperwork we needed. He also continues to check in to see if we need anything.As a first time home buyer, I would highly recommend Justen as he clearly stays on top of what is going on in the real estate market and uses that to help make everything in the home buying process, from picking a mortgage lender to finding an inspector to the actual moving process, as painless as possible.If you are looking for a real estate agent, definitely meet with Justen! We are very glad we did:)

Highly recommend Staufer real estate for selling your home. Justen helped us through the sale of our Rock Creek home - offering suggestions on staging, pricing, and negotiations with the buyers. He is very familiar with home sales in the Rock Creek neighborhood in Superior, which was key to the quick sale of the house. After closing, we used his box truck (complete with dolly) to quickly and inexpensively move items to our new home. Justen was easy to reach when we had questions on the sale, and we were grateful to have his experience and familiarity with the real estate market to guide us through the process.

Justen (and his team) is very responsive, knowledgeable and honest. My family and I were new to the area and Justen helped us so much with guiding through and comparing neighborhoods in Louisville, Lafayette, and Superior. Justen is a housing veteran but with youthful energy and knows his stuff and we highly recommend him.
