Eric was recommended to us by a good friend. We needed just an appraisal for a wedding ring for Insurance. He did it for a much more reasonable price and quicker than any of the big name jewelry stores. We learned that he makes custom jewelry, so we discussed custom wedding bands to match my wife's engagement ring. We agreed on a design and a price, which was also under any quotes we had gotten. The bands turned out beautifully, and under the price estimate. We are beyond satisfied, more like ecstatic with the value and quality of the bands. They white gold with diamonds. Very fine work.

Eric is an artist! He took great care to make sure he conveyed through his work, the sentiment and intent of our wedding ring designs, and on a tight time frame to boot! He kept us updated with pictures throughout the entire process which was fun and appreciated! I think he was as excited as we were with the finished product! We love our rings! Thank you Eric!

Following up on the issue with the bent prong in my wedding ring--after Mr Olson had moved the bracket back into place, i took it to Anspach's Jewelry in Lafayette to double check and see if it would safe to wear the ring as I didn't want to lose the stone.The jeweler there noticed that one of the prongs was not laying flat on the stone. After I had picked it up from Eric Olson (after he had ret-tipped the brackets) I had noticed that my hair had caught in the ring a few times. It didn't occur to me that snagging it in my hair would have such an effect. So there was a defect in Mr Olson's workmanship that caused the bending.I can't speak to why the ring on the necklace broke; I hadn't worn it after picking it up.All I can say is that my assumption of a business printing a 30 day warranty on the back of every receipt means they should honor that warranty. Honestly, all of the fuss could have been avoided if Mr Olson had simply looked carefully at my ring when I brought it back in, identified the issue, and fixed it properly without getting defensive.Also, I do not appreciate being called "This lady". Dismissing people with legitimate issues is very poor customer service.

They have done numerous beautiful repairs for me, steered me in the right direction. (once I was convinced a ring should be size Y and Eric said try size X and I was convinced he was wrong ... until I became convinced he was totally right!) Lovely people + superb quality = win-win

Their website said they fixed watches. I needed a new band. I waited for them to open and was told they don't do watch bands. They did refer me to someone but would have been nice to know before hand.

This guy is the biggest crook in town! Run as fast as you can - away! He misrepresented his product, and took me for tens of thousands of dollars. He sold me what he told me was an opal necklace for $13.5 thousand dollars, and it turned out to be plastic !!!!!! I later threatened to sue, and he was forced to give me my money back. He sold me a $5000 strand of what was supposed to be black diamonds - and they turned out to be hematites!!!! he told me emeralds that turned out to be sapphires, and rubies that also turned out to be sapphires! I could not have felt more stupid!! (but I trusted him ). He is full of attitude and rude to people, and that's just the beginning! This is the jeweler that you were warned about!! Please be forewarned. Sincerely!!, hang onto your hard earned money! Nobody likes to be taken advantage of, let alone talked down to. It foolishly took me years to get my jewelry evaluated... And I totally broke down when I found out what he had actually sold me. Part of me will never forgive myself, so I think it's important that I warn you! (if I could give him negative stars - I absolutely would.!)!!!

Abysmal experience overall. I brought in a piece of jewelry in that I needed fixed and immediately the owner/jeweler was extremely rude to me and used profanity. I was assured by an associate that the repair could be done in a timely manner, however 2 days later I still had not received a call regarding the status. I called and was told it was finished, only to discover that he had made a mistake and COMPLETELY RUINED THE PIECE OF JEWELRY RENDERING IT UNWEARABLE. He did not apologize, but said flippantly, "Maybe they won't notice," AND charged me the full exorbitant repair fee. Stay away from this reviling place with its repugnant customer service.
