I got my helix done by Tribal rites about a year ago and it still isn’t healed. I had no issues with the piercer or shortening the stud, however once it hit 6 months I went in to get a hoop so my hair would stop pulling it. What I didn’t know until going to a different piercer was that they put a hoop that was 14g, when I got mine pierced at 16g. From someone who does not know anything about gauges, it was not fair to not tell me anything. This experience with the hoop was the worse piercing experience ever, and I have 8. It was painful, I’ve had a horrible healing process and so much more. From what my new piercer told me, she said that all piercers should tell people this, especially since they literally stretched out my piercing. She also said this gauge was only for belly and nipple piercings. I am writing this so this can be addressed and so no one has to ever experience the pain I had, when it could’ve been avoided with communication.

Went in first time today I heard so many good things about this place by my friend. Walked in & lady in front helping me was extremely rude to me from beginning to end. If you are unhappy or rude maybe don’t work & don’t give that bad energy to everyone else. I’ve never in my life have had anybody that rude. Went to Rowan piercing in Boulder recently & man were they so sweet & nice.

I came in as a walk in tattoo on a whim, Jamie was available and so we started the process!! This was my first time at Tribal Rites and I’m so happy I went. Jamie was so sweet, explained everything, and was tons of fun to talk to. I was nervous since because this was my first ever tattoo but Jamie made me feel very comfortable. I’m so excited to go back and get another (with Jamie of course.)!!! Cant recommend her enough! :)

Quick I didn't have an appointment was a walk In and they got me in and out right away with a new nose piercing. Thanks will definitely come back in the near future.

I'd give 10 more stars if google would let me!!! Danny Moon had the vision down before I even arrived, and my first tattoo is better than I ever imagined!! And the entire staff is really cool! If it's your first tattoo or piercing, everything gets explained well, and you'll be in excellent hands!

This place is seriously awesome. Great ambiance, great people. Everyone was so friendly. Also Joshua has the lightest hand ever. I’m definitely a person who is more into the experience than the actual tattoo. It was by far the BEST tattoo experience. I originally came for a Friday the 13th tattoo flash sale, but definitely will be coming back for more.

i went in today for the friday the 13th special with some friends, because we thought that the designs were cute and the shop was close. one of us has a great experience with may, and she was lovely. however, i was tattooed by danny and had a horrible experience. he didn’t bother to clean, or sanatize, or shave, or even wipe the area before tattooing, nor move my clothing out of the way before taking a needle to my skin? im very heavily tattooed otherwise and this was so out of the ordinary. beyond that, i asked him for a break, and he turned around to get more ink then kept the tattoo going. this caused my to black out in his chair, and upon doing so, he told my friends to “take me outside” because it was gross. his manor was completely unprofessional and ruined the experience for me. definitely won’t be back, and can see why he’s been through so many shops.Service: Fine line tattoos

I took my 7 year old after she begged for a couple of years to get her ears pierced. They were so friendly and explained the whole process. She got to pick out which earrings she wanted, and they even had earrings for sensitive ears. I talked tattoos for myself with Josh for a little bit. They have the get what you get tattoo gumball machine which I've always wanted to try. They are super clean, respectful, informative, friendly, and Josh even printed out a coloring page of tattoo designs for my daughter. You guys are all amazing, and I can't wait to do business with y'all again.

Danny did such an amazing job on my first tattoo! I came in pretty nervous, but he made the experience really easy. It was a 6 and a half hour process but he made it feel really simple and painless! He’s super nice to talk to and is such an amazing artist as well. Definitely worth going to if you have your doubts!!Services: Color ink tattoos
