I went there in October not knowing a thing about trees, just knowing that I needed them. Troy picked me up in a golf cart and drove me all around giving me options and explations of possible trees, plus his recommendations. It was so helpful and easy! The deliver and plant the trees too, so even someone as clueless about everything could add beautiful trees that are in my budget to my home!

They don't stand behind their trees! We purchased 27 trees, including delivery and planting - we spent $13,000!!. They said they had a 1 year warranty. After 2 weeks one of the trees died - and it has the same sun, shade and water as the others/. The TreeFarm "warranty" is 50% of the cost of the tree, not inckuding planting, delivery. I canot believe after a $13K purchase they won't do the right thing. I will never recommend them or do business with them. Poor customer service.

Frustrating Experience at The Tree Farm Nursery & Garden Center
Our visit to The Tree Farm Nursery & Garden Center was unfortunately marred by a series of disappointments. Initially, we were handed a map instead of receiving a guided introduction to the premises, which felt impersonal. The nursery is extensive, and navigating it without proper guidance was confusing. We had to repeatedly ask different employees for directions, which, while they were trying, added to the inconvenience.
After much walking, we finally located the section with larger trees and found one we liked, priced at $1000. However, the process didn't get any smoother from there. Finding someone to assist with the next steps was another ordeal, leading us back to the store for help.
The real letdown came at the checkout area. The staff at the registers seemed more engrossed in their e-books and phones than in assisting customers. Their lack of engagement and somewhat rude demeanor was disheartening, especially after the effort we put into finding what we wanted.
This experience soured us on what should have been a pleasant outing to select a tree for our home. The combination of minimal assistance, long walks, and ultimately, the unhelpful staff at checkout, led us to decide against purchasing the tree we had chosen.
It's a shame because the nursery itself has a good selection, but the customer service aspect was severely lacking. We left not only without a tree but also with the decision to never return, despite our need for landscaping additions.
**Rating:** 2/5 stars, primarily for the selection, but severely impacted by poor customer service.

Be careful using The Tree Farm to plant your trees. The salesman who sells you the trees will tell you 1 thing. The people who plant the trees may not plant them based on what the salesman says.
Case in point. We bought 2 large trees July 27. We were very specific that these 2 trees were going to replace 2 trees in the same spot where we were removing 2 trees. We told him we would have the tree roots ground up.
The guys showed up to plant the trees said they could not plant 1 of the trees. The hole need to be ground another 3 inches around.
They have awesome plants and varieties but be very careful if you want them to plant trees.
Sept 28.
Want to update my post. The Tree Farm folks did work with me to resolve this issue. We moved down a tree size, got a credit, and the folks who planted the trees came out this morning and planted the trees with no issues. They did a very good job planting the trees.

What a place! It's a huge place with tremendous selection. Staff throughout the place were busy, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the person doing my checkout wasn't as friendly or helpful, but we were able to load up the car with a tree and two bushes surprisingly quickly considering it was the end of a busy Sunday.

We bought almost $4,000 worth of trees from
the tree farm 2 years ago and they CONTINUE to die. They told us they were “all a part of a bad lot” when we came back to replace the first 2 and “they threw away the entire lot” when they found out but don’t tell anyone who bought them until you show up with dead trees.. We’ve asked for partial compensation on trees that are the same size as the originals in our yard the THIRD time we had to return and the “owner isn’t willing to help” nor could he walk over just to talk with us. We’ve driven 2 hours 3 times to the tree farm and planted/ dug up TWELVE TIMES and they aren’t even willing to split the difference between a baby tree and an established tree of EQUAL size. Pretty terrible leadership and customer relationships. We will not be returning and hope nobody else wastes their money here!

Fantastic Experience! This was a bit of a drive, but well worth it. Their prices and selection were unbelievable. I didn't realize they also had such a great selection of other plants. The customer service was great and the men loading up our tree into our SUV were quick and careful.
We will definitely be back!

Tree Farm is probably the best nursery in the area. Excellent selection and excellent planting crew. Their planting crew did such an awesome job, I’m grateful. Thank you guys for the amazing customer service and putting up with my endless number of changes — highly recommend.

This place is extensive, I’ll give it that. However, we had a very disappointing customer service experience that just got worse every step of the way.
My husband and I were shopping for our newly-landscaped yard. Upon arriving, the person managing the desk asked what we needed. We explained a few items we were looking for and he condescendingly said “yeah we’ll get an expert to help you out.” The “expert” he sent us to was similarly condescending and rude while she took us around the property - berating us for our consumer-level knowledge of plants and trees. We had reasonable questions and opinions as non-professionals, and she scoffed at us the whole time.
We wound up spending nearly $1000 on our first trip there, with plans to return for more. Unfortunately one of the trees we purchased died, despite being planted and watered per the instructions we were given.
When we returned to discuss options, the manager (whose attitude I see mentioned in other recent reviews) was SO rude to my husband - I truly can’t believe he’s in a leadership position. He spoke down to us, told us it was all our fault, insulted our landscaper, and only refunded us when we agreed to never return to the store.
I’m honestly just astonished that a place with such poor customer service is rated so highly here. Maybe their core business is with landscapers and not direct consumers but either way - buyer beware. Beyond the plants (which are overpriced and not all healthy), this isn’t an establishment I’d choose to support again - even if they’d let me.

They have a huge selection of trees and we especially love the labor tree tree sale. Our 4 pine trees are alive and thriving 2 years later.

Disappointed.
Bought a tree from the tree farm a while back, but had issues.
Purchased the tree with removal, installation and delivery. Had to wait a while for it to be delivered. When the driver arrived he tried to tell me that I had not paid the delivery fee, and tried to get me to pay again. Showed my receipt, and the tree was installed.
It dies within a year. However, great they offer a year warranty so I went back to get a replacement. This cost me over $900 as they would only give me credit for the cost of the tree, the new tree was taller and I had to pay again for removal and delivery. Less than a year later this tree too has died.
I went to an arborist (Altitude Arborist - would recommend) to replace this time. It was quicker, cheaper and they told me on removal of the old tree that it died because it had not been installed correctly - was not mixed with the soil in place. I have to assume that this is why the first tree died. Not impressed.

Repeat customer Showed up for an advertised sale- paid fair and square- then they refused to let us leave with what we purchased. Forced a refund due to their error. Can’t trust these guys. No apologies- just we can’t give you want you just purchased. Owner refused to honor his sale price. Bad business and terrible customer service. Will never return or recommend!
