“A gem of a P.O. Go at the right time and it's a perfect, quick, easy in & out. Prompt & courteous staff. But it is a small place, so not ideal during big rush times for parking & lines.”

“I haven’t been to a Post Office and had a pleasant and painless visit since I was a child and I’m 30 years old. Every Post Office I’ve visited over the last decade has been absolutely awful with trash service. I and all the way to I'm so happy to report that the Niwot Post Office quite literally couldn’t do a more phenomenal job in terms of the service they provide. I’ve lived in so many places over the last 15 years and have frequented many Post Offices. Everyone of those Post Offices that I’ve gone to regardless of the time or day of the week that I choose to visit there is a line out the door, they’re understaffed and the employees have been very rude, unprofessional, and it was clear they hated their job. The people at the Niwot Post Office were so chipper, upbeat, kind, friendly and professional; I was literally in and out within less than 2-3 minutes. I’m sitting in the parking lot to write this review now so that I don’t forget because that’s how impressed I’ve been with the service. I’ve watched sooooo many people walk in and out with packages, letters, etc and come right back out in 5 minutes or less. The Niwot Post Office needs to be sent out to train the employees at all the other Post Offices in this country lol. Seriously, I never thought I could be this happy leaving a Post Office ?”

“I love going to this post office/gift shop! It's nearby and I've always had good experiences with them. The women who run the store are nice and helpful; one will even let you know the cheapest way to ship your package! However, keep in mind that there only seems to be two employees in the store at a time so waits can get long, but they're doing the best they can.”

“If you want earlier appointment than crowded city locations, and for quick, efficient passport application processing, go to this post office! This is a quaint little post office having helpful employees with an amazing attitude! I just can't believe some of the low ratings here... obviously some irate customers who don't know what they are doing, or they might reflect experiences with previous employees...I was struggling to get an appointment for my twins for passport renewal (re-application really as minors can't get theirs renewed) in and around Denver. I even tried walking in at a couple of post office locations and had an ugly experience in both, standing in line for a long time, only to be told no more walk-ins would be considered.I then realized that when we search for post offices to get an appointment, the website tracks our location and gives us nearby locations which may have appointments more than 3 weeks out. All we need to do is put in the name of the city around which you want to try - lo and behold, a lot more options open up when you try suburbs.Late last night, I got an appointment for today at the Erie post office which is 29 miles from home, but just a 35 minute drive - way better than standing in line for an hour at the Denver downtown location. The Erie post office is quaint and small, with hardly any place for people to form a line. I reached there with my kiddos 10 minutes before my appointment time. There were 5 people ahead of me of which one was for passport. I got to the front of the line in just 10 minutes. The employees attending to customers were super efficient and pleasant throughout. Alana and Jessica deserve a shout out.Jessica handled our kids' applications and both the applications were done within a matter of 10-15 minutes total. Absolutely pain-free experience!TLDR: Check out this post office if you live around Denver and want a quick appointment and want to be dealt with by very pleasant and efficient employees!”

“This is not a review of this post office or USPS in general, but I want to express my gratitude for Julie who went above and beyond for me!I had a package that had something wrong with the tracking and was bouncing between post offices across the country for 2mo and despite opening cases with USPS and trying to intercept it while it was in town, using the website to report a missing package or do a package intercept (both tools broken) … no such luck. Julie recognized the issue, altered the package to help it get to its destination, and still kept an eye out for it in case it came back. She even called me with updates multiple times. Without her I’m pretty sure it’d just be in circulation indefinitely. Thank you, Julie!”

“For those reading the old reviews, please do not be swayed as the previous Postmaster has long gone. Rick and team have been fantastic in the two years I've been in Mead. Rick has been incredibly helpful and his team often go the extra mile. Be patient with the mail boxes, we all hate them! Recruiting and retaining staff is still a challenge for us all! Thanks Rick.”
