Today I learned the Our center has a problem with helping Black Americans!!!! So a black women was sent to the Our center for assistance. The receptionist older Spanish women was mean evil and disrespectful to a new client. She said she was hungry? she refuses her a meal and sent her away. But you fed over 7/8 men who were homeless she made sure they pass and received breakfast!!!!If the Our center is being bias shame on you, CEO, CFO CCO!SO she also turned a mixed couple away as well!!!?!?!?Are you only helping white homeless men?

Omg, I know we all need a helping hand lately with how tightly our finances can be in the rough economy!! If it wasn't for this place right here, I would be so Screwed for getting help with my security deposit to move into another place.Ivy is an amazing lady who tries her hardest to help everybody out that she can... trust me when I say she is a lifesaver and she is not even the candy bro, but she is a super sweet lady who will go out of here to help you if she can.Thank you so much, Ivy, for all your help though thick and Finn !!I don't know where I would have been without you all helping hands from OurCenter. I am forever indebted to you all ...Sincerely: (Jeremiah Epperson)

It feels like it's meant to be overwhelming.Points? Not necessary and made it confusing compared to other food banks I've been at in Boulder County.Having someone escort you through it all instead of one solid explanation, and then I go on my way. . Different staff/voluteers walking up on you about something else that's neither here or there every few steps.Waiting in a standstill line bc a different step has to be finished ahead of you.Staff/volunteers whispering about how to do things between staff or you'll get in trouble. Don't want to make so and so mad. Being completely interrupted while talking so the staff can take a few steps away to whisper some more.I get through it all and was told to go back outside and DRIVE AROUND AND PARK IN THE BACK for my food. I was parked a few feet from where I was needed to be and they wanted me to get back in my car and drive down a few spaces??? I left because I was over it. I was more annoyed that I waited through that entire process only to leave in the end.

I once cooked Easter dinner here, but yesterday I made a frozen food donation here. It was good to be cleaning out my freezer. Once upon a time after the Covid-19 pandemic ended I was donating my hoard of can goods to food banks. Literally hundreds of pounds of my over preparation (fears) of supply chain and end of world as we know it -did not go to waste! lol

I gave a friend a ride, because she needed to get some food from the food pantry. It was my first time there. I was impressed with how clean it was and how nice all the volunteers were. There were almost 30 people in line ahead of my friend, but the line moved efficiently. She was able to get plenty of food for her family. If you'd like to help those in need, donate time, clothing, diapers, or food here!

?! One thing you do not want to do, is give CLIENT ACCESS (sensitive information) TO VOLUNTEERS!! Does that violate HIPAA? Meaning do the volunteers have to take a training, to protect client health dietary? Also very discriminating, won't provide service for non residents and those who follow the word of the LORD!

Wildly dissapointed in the staff here. Absolutly no excuse to turn away any resident of longmont for any reason. So what if I need to replace my ID, it does not, and will never change the fact that those in need must be allowed the help same as any other longmont resident.Do not waste your time here as I wasted mine.

OUR Center helped me out so much in 2004-2006. I appreciate the way they provided immediate help without a lot of questions. They were like, if you need help, we will help you. Their lunches are delicious. I am so grateful to them for helping me when I was down.

I feel very disappointed on my visit to this "Outreach." I've lived on the road (in my van) for the past 4 years traveling state to state and because I didn't have proof of a lease or residency they told me to kick rocks. I try everyday to see the optimistic side of life, but the perverbial truth is that we are all hurting and we all need help! To be very honest, without a house, much food or money, I am genuinely more happy than the two ladies that "helped" me at this outreach today.
